It's always one of two things-- desperation, or hacked pokemon.

I have little doubt that the Manaphy eggs I got were hacked. The guy claimed that he just kept resetting Ranger, transferring the egg to Diamond, sending it over to Pearl, then repeating the process, but from the comments I've read you can only get one egg out of a copy of Ranger. And then when people asked how he was able to reset the game, he never responded. To me, it's not a big deal. Even if the egg's hacked, it's as normal as a legit when it hatches.

As for the rest of it (Larvitar, Beldum, Squirtle, etcetera), that's just either desperate people or pretty fair trades. Just go to GameFAQs, you'll find great deals there.

Finished off my starters and got my beloved Torkoal. Guy drove a hard bargain, but he did give me three (Chikorita, Totodile, Treecko) for the price of two (Vespiquen, Gible).

Ah, well, I wouldn't mind having a couple of the rock legendaries myself. I don't really want to transfer them from Sapphire to this game, but I might as well. Hopefully I can just find someone with the impossible to find pokemon (deoxys, Celebi, etc.) and get them to trade...of course, probably hacked but whatever. I just truly wish that Nintendo would make a lot of these pokemon obtainable in the game, no outside sources. :(

I haven't even gone online with this yet, so I will probably try to so I get an FC and create me one of those fancy-schmancy trainer cards.

I decided to have a little fun with my trainer card. My eevees are so powerful you'll forfeit the match =D.

Anyway, I'm just hunting for certain pokemon (for other people!) and leveling up when I'm not out working. Team-wise, I'm thinking about ditching my Rhyperior and Garchomp for anything else. Not sure what.

Well if you're going to put Dragonite in your team consider giving up a Heart Scale to teach it a elemental punch or two.

I'm wondering what to use for flying. I want to be able to use the Fly HM whenever I want but don't wanna use an HM slave. :/

The majority of the pokemon who can learn fly are not that great.. or are difficult to get a hold of.

I'd yell out some sort of Dragon Pokemon, but you could teach them better attacks. If you REALLY wanna be boring, go for a Starly and raise it up, but if you're willing to wait, get a Natu or something.

I got the game since launch but for some reason I'm just taking time going from gym to gym to level up, trading and picking up berries. I'm 40 hours into the game and going for my third gym badge. @_@
