I should have probably noticed this before, but Gabriel is actually already over his daily limit for Lay On Hands (he's only supposed to get two).
I'm not going to try to take back the third one but four is pushing it. :/ |
Gabriel just likes touching men, don't worry about it.
That's unfortunate for Argumentus though. Man. |
Argumentus won't be needing help I think.
Not with the all-you-can-eat crab buffet he's about to receive. Somebody light this crab up and steam it into fine cuisine.

If his attack misses because he moved out of flank to perform a healing spell he by all reason cannot I will be most cross.
Wait, I'm out of lay on hands? That can happen? I didn't know that. All right, fuck it. I stay in flank and bolstering strike. GO!
Well, since me and Deni are out of healing spells, and everyone except Bob and Gabriel is badly wounded, now would probably be a good time to check your character sheets and see what your healing skill ability is.
Edit: D'oh, thought you could use a heal check to let an adjacent party member use a healing surge, but it only lets them use second wind without spending an action point. Since we've all used second wind for this fight, that pretty much doesn't help us at all. Still, DC 15 Heal Checks are required to stabilize the dying, which may be important soon. |
Allez-oup
First Aid Make a Heal check to administer first aid. First Aid: Standard action. ✦ DC: Varies depending on the task you’re attempting. ✦ Use Second Wind: Make a DC 10 Heal check to allow an adjacent character to use his or her second wind (page 291) without the character having to spend an action. The character doesn’t gain the defense bonuses normally granted by second wind. ✦ Stabilize the Dying: Make a DC 15 Heal check to stabilize an adjacent dying character. If you succeed, the character can stop making death saving throws until he or she takes damage. The character’s current hit point total doesn’t change as a result of being stabilized. ✦ Grant a Saving Throw: Make a DC 15 Heal check. If you succeed, an adjacent ally can immediately make a saving throw, or the ally gets a +2 bonus to a saving throw at the end of his or her next turn. edit: looks like Chanic already summed it up, but here it is just for the benefit of the bookless |

Is opening doors a major or minor action?
Leave it to Bob to kill us all.
You mean you're not curious what's behind the door?
Opening the door to release the hypothetical massive fire-breathing dragon would be a minor action.
I hope it's a pie-in-the-face! :ontheedgeofmyseatwaiting:
That door seems to have hinges which open in on the room, so what if Argumentus wanted to bull rush the door to rip it off its hinges and open up a second avenue to flank the guard? Minor or major action?
Yeah, bashing down a door would be Standard.
I don't think you get how overpowered I want to be. =/
Ok, you can RIP THE DOOR OFF ITS HINGES, SPLINTERING IT INTO A THOUSAND JAGGED SHARDS IN A DISPLAY OF MIGHT THAT SHALL ECHO, YEA, UNTO A THOUSAND GENERATIONS AS ONLOOKERS TELL OF THE NIGHTMARISH SIGHT OF THE STRONGEST MORTAL CREATURE WHO EVER LIVED as a standard action.
Yeah that's the stuff
Are we assumed to have spent a short rest now, Pang? Time to start chain-spending remaining healing surges.
If you're not fighting, and you're not sleeping, you're taking a short rest.
Process of elimination++ |
Well, I'm back from my trip, but I'm going to be pretty busy with school starting up this week, so I suppose you can keep going with Soggy, Animechanic. It was fun while it lasted.
Nah, go ahead. I still have a character waiting in the wings. Things don't move so fast that you need to check that often.
If neither of you wants to continue with Soggy that's why we have the reserve list.
Lurker, does your Halfling Cleric have a name or should I just spin the Wheel of Hilarious Epithets? |
