Nobody has ripped Jump Ultimate Stars for the DS yet have they?

If there is no rip, id like to rip it myself. I read all the threads and howtos and i think i can do it. I just need some less than techinical pointers. Such as how many times do I let a song loop before I cut it off?

SuperSonic Jul 30, 2007 01:09 AM

Normally it's a matter of opinion, but I've found this method to work best. Let it play, then loop, then on the second loop play it for about 5 seconds then fade out for the next 10 seconds.

Again, it's a matter of opinion.

Killy Jul 30, 2007 05:17 AM

I prefer just fading out the first 10 seconds of the third loop, but it's all good so long as you get the two full loops. Fade out is a matter of opinion, like SuperSonic said.

I've gone back a few pages, so I don't think this has been mentioned previously. Has anyone been able to rip the Final Fantasy I (PSP Anniversary Edition) soundtrack yet? I grabbed a few of the tracks that had been added (various boss themes from later FF games, Clash on the Big Bridge/Battle with Gilgamesh etc) from someone on 4chan, but I don't think the whole soundtrack has been posted yet.

There is, though it's 128kbps. I forget where I got this rip from.

Seriously, the music is just so mediocre >_>

cubed Aug 3, 2007 08:30 PM

I fade 15 seconds. Who says better ?

Additional Spam:
Mario Strikers Charged (Wii) needs to be ripped.

It doesn't have the best music evah but still need to be ripped. You can turn sfx off. No sound test existance known. Fucking great game.

Lavis Aug 3, 2007 11:28 PM

How about Blood+: One Night Kiss (ps2), I hope someone got the game

AndyDS Aug 12, 2007 12:42 AM

The Legend Of Heroes III (PSP) Needs to be ripped.

THE POWER OF WATER Aug 21, 2007 09:32 PM

I've got a pair of requests:

Tekken Advance for the GBA
2002 game with music by Atsuhiro Motoyama and Hitoshi Sakimoto. There isn't even a GSF set of this one. :(

Gekitou Pro Baseball: Shinji Mizushima All Stars VS Pro Baseball for the PS2
2003 game with music by Shinji Hosoe, Masaharu Iwata, Ken-ichi Koyano, Atsuhiro Motoyama, and Ayako Saso. Also seen as "Gekitou Pro Yakyuu" on Wikipedia, the sites of Hosoe and Saso, and elsewhere.

cubed Aug 22, 2007 11:37 AM

It wasn't requested, but anyway it's just adding another rip in my.... err... portfolio ?

Picross DS

Be sure to listen to both tracks named EXTRA. O_O

NOTE: Track Daily Picross has sfx at the beginning as I didn't want to sacrifice the intro beat. Yeah I'm picky like that. And for some tracks, I had to edit them to make the track longer or to avoid sfx ("Tutorial", "Congradulations" and "Catch, Sketch & Hit". If you have played this game, you'll notice what I'm referring to). The Staff roll track was kind of looping, but it has an ending, so it's kind of shorter than what we can hear when watch the entire staff roll.

more nds music always good thing for me. Thank you cubed :D

Ceft Aug 22, 2007 12:17 PM

Don't know if this has been mentioned or not, but Boktai 3 (Shin Bokura no Taiyou: Gyakushuu no Sabata) really needs to be ripped. There's not even a gsf archive for it!

Hoppy Aug 22, 2007 04:37 PM

Yu-Gi-Oh Nightmare Troubledour- DS
Yu-Gi-Oh World championship 2004- GBA

Those need to be ripped as well.

SuperSonic Aug 22, 2007 05:02 PM

Epsilon, I'm guessing your request is for the GBA since that's what the gsf format usually goes in.

Hoppy, I'm not sure about Nightmare Troubledour but I do remember that World Championship 2004 was already ripped...I think by cubed. I remember because I downloaded it assuming that it was the music for the original GBA games. Afterwards, I deleted it. :P

Both were ripped by cubed and I have them on my external HD. I can see why one would think they weren't, however, seeing as almost none of the FTPs here carry them.

Where can I find the rips? Link please or a PM.

cubed Aug 22, 2007 05:31 PM

And I've ripped Capsule Monster Coliseum (for PS2) if you're interested as well, as it's not well distributed either. I can always upload them all to our now-familiar file sharing website we all love and overuse.

I'm interested in that too.

I'm taking care of Nightmare Troubadour and World Championship Tournament for him, just to let you know.

cubed Aug 22, 2007 06:18 PM

That's what I thought, so I started an upload for Capsule Monster Coliseum :P

Additional Spam:
Yu-Gi-Oh! Capsule Monster Coliseum: (which has the best music of the bunch in my opinion)

Dragoneer's Aria for PSP. Great music. Can turn SFX off, which is a great plus.

Intro theme by Bach O_O

Correct, seeing as the Boktai 3 was the last one of the series on the GBA.

Question, does anyone have rip of "No one can stop Mr Domino" (PSX)?

cubed Aug 28, 2007 11:31 PM

I'm surprised no one has requested Metroid Prime 3 yet. The Main menu theme is so great. The second boss battle theme (to avoid any spoiler) is awesome as well. You can unlock a "soundtrack gallery", 15 tracks in total..... You need at least 1 yellow medal for each track, which means you need to beat the game to get them all, as they are obtained when you beat a boss -_-;;;

I was working on a rip a few months ago but I never got around to finishing it for various reasons. Here it is, it's untagged, untitled, and a few tracks have had a bit of surgery. I probably won't get around to finishing it for a while, if ever.
