Actually, they've been working on two titles. An enhanced port of Kirby Super Star for the DS (Kirby Super Star Deluxe) and their GCN Kirby title ended up being moved to development for Wii and was featured on a 2008 release list from Nintendo.

FatsDomino Dec 1, 2007 08:25 PM

They sure don't seem eager to tell anybody about that.

For sure. Kirby Super Star Deluxe was announced at Nintendo's Tokyo event in October, but no one's made mention of it yet in NA/Europe. Kirby Wii... probably will first hear about that sometime in 2008.

In any case, Pokemon Snap 2: do want.

Buizel Dec 2, 2007 09:38 AM

Well Pokémon Snap 1 is coming out on December 10 in North America. Check out pokemon.com for the info.

Hmm, I already wasted $80 of VC games because the first Wii I had borked. Not sure if I want to go back to it... >_>

If you sent it to Nintendo, they should've included all the VC games you had purchased when they sent it back...

Buizel Dec 2, 2007 09:52 PM

Nah, I didn't/couldn't send in my Wii. I had to do an advance replacement... >_>

Zeta26 Dec 3, 2007 01:12 AM

Speaking of V.C games. It seems that the KOF series is getting some recognition on the system, with the introduction of King of Fighters '94. And that hopefully we'll also see it's Aero Fighters 2 & 3, Last Blade & L.B 2 etc...

SuperSonic Dec 3, 2007 06:20 PM

This week on Virtual Console US (12/3/07):

Zanac (NES)
The Dynastic Hero (TG16)
Eternal Champions (Genesis)

The only one I've heard about out of those three is Eternal Champions. I heard it's quite good. Hope you guys are satisfied with this week's release.

Chaotic Dec 3, 2007 06:26 PM

Not really, I want my Pokemon Snap.

But speaking of which, I need to finish my Super Metroid download. <_<

Eternal Champions was probably the weirdest fighting game I played during my playing days with MK. I'll probably download it for nostalgic reasons. The only kill I ever made was in that stage where you knock the opponent into the fire and watch his cook. How I did it was a mystery >.>;

SuperSonic Dec 10, 2007 12:58 PM

Oh SNAP!...literally. This week on Virtual Console US (12/10/07):

Baseball Stars 2 (NeoGeo)
Ghosts 'n Goblins (NES)
Pokemon Snap (N64)

Man, I remember when I rented Snap at Blockbuster and printed those stickers out a week later when I had to return the game. Good memories, pretty decent game. The others I've never played.

Frozen Memories Dec 10, 2007 08:41 PM

Ghosts 'n Goblins, eh? That game is brutal... Those other two I never played, though I always wanted to play Snap in my crazed Pokemon days.

Summonmaster Dec 10, 2007 09:39 PM

Ah Pokemon Snap. My friend and I laugh at what possessed him to buy that game in the N64 days. Fond memories of that and trying to snap Mew that inexplicably has a PICTURE BARRIER. Now that I look at it, it seems like a funny novel idea that I might get it instead of laughing at it, provided the reviews aren't abysmal.

Ahaha, those sticker machines cost an arm and a leg. What was it, like 5 bucks or more for a sticker sheet? So bogus.

Tube Dec 10, 2007 09:50 PM

Time to finally spend the rest of my 2000 point card I bought in February.

Heh, so 5-6 bucks to rent the game and another 5 for the sticker sheet. You were also given a card to insert into that machine, like an id type of thing. I've still got my Pikachu card somewhere. XD

Ghodbane Dec 10, 2007 10:07 PM

I can't wait for some decent games to come out on this thing. I think Nintendo's taking it slow so they don't run out of stellar releases. Still waiting on Ys Books 1 & 2, which esrb.org lists as having a rating (so I'm guessing it's coming here, only a matter of when). Also: Majora's Mask, Shining Force 2 and I know it'll never happen but, Chrono Trigger would be icing on the cake for me.

Zeta26 Dec 13, 2007 04:44 AM

Me too. Like the rest of Neo Geo and their "so-called" former expensive games to reach V.C. Like Aero Fighters 2 & 3 + King of Fighters 95-99.

Then there's like you said; SNES' hotly Square RPG; Chrono Trigger. CAPCOM's offerings of Mega Man X, X2 & X3, Super Street Fighter II.

wvlfpvp Dec 13, 2007 06:15 PM

no, how about they release one of the few things on the SNES better than Chrono Trigger:

Terranigma.

They've already rereleased CT . . . even if it was a bad port.

SuperSonic Dec 17, 2007 12:02 PM

Better than Chrono Trigger? Well, you've gotten me curious...I'll have to add that to the list of games I need to play.

This week on Virtual Console US (12/17/07):

Alien Storm (Genesis)
Cybernator (SNES)
Monster Lair (TG16)

FUCK YES.

My cart died. Maybe it's time for a downloadable replacement.

trackjacket Dec 17, 2007 01:27 PM

Next week better not be gimped. The Christmas week last year was pretty awesome.

SuperSonic Dec 17, 2007 08:54 PM

I remember getting the original Super Mario Bros. last year. What else was there?

trackjacket Dec 17, 2007 10:34 PM

R-Type, Super Castlevania IV, Street Fighter II, and something else.
