I despise most any mecha anime, so my uninformed guess will have to be Gatchaman or something. The name sounds wacky enough to match the first picture.

The only thing I can think of (the one that is probably the most obvious) is Transformers, although I don't remember anyone morphing into what looks like a plane. But then again, my memory only goes back so many years.

That ship reminds me of something out of Macross. Judging from the quality of the last shot, you probably got it from one of the original Macross series/movie.

Either way, my guess is one of the Macross lines.

Still no... guys this anime was made in to multiple saga. I say it was aired between 95-97.

This is probably wrong, but it must be said. Gundam Wing is my guess. Did start at 95. The mecha's don't really seem gundam-like but that's my guess anyway.

I am completely unversed in the mech anime genre, and searching on google didn't even help. My guess is Gaogaigar, though I know their mechs don't look like that screen. And Gundam Wing was going to be my second, but as khalfan also realizes, the mechs in that screen aren't of gundam style.

I'm gonna guess Ogon Yuusha Goldran. It's a mecha show, has multiple saga and aired in the 95-97 range. Also saw a picture that looks like the mech from the sample although I can't really be sure it's the same.

Why the hell is everyone saying Gundam Wing ? lol...No gundam will EVER look like that unless it was probably the many stages of Voltron Vehicles and Tigers or whatever it was but other than that..Im not sure but I'll just say Voltron cause they almost look the same (yes i know its american ;p ) .

I'm not sure how much of a bigger hint there you could give since you've already presented us with a picture of some of the actual robots in the show.

The problem with non-Gundam mecha shows is that if you've watched a couple episodes of a couple of them, you're unlikely to remember them. In my case, I watched anime in Hong Kong when I was young, so the name of the show was translated, and since I was incapable of reading hiragana or katakana letters at the time, I have no idea what it's real name is. That problem applies here, except I don't even remember the Chinese name, I see the feet, the plane, the robots, they all look familiar. But having seen so many random episodes of random mecha shows, it's all kind of a blurb.

Well, it is part of Yuusha Exkaiser or one of the like 10 'spin-offs', and the only one of those that acme out during your time from was Ogon Yuusha Goldran, but there you really cant call them sequeals, because verything takes place in the same setting. Personaly i have never even heard of anythin of that list but Betterman, but oh well thats my guess... and i WANT my freaking post if i get this, so skuff off no stealing it!
