Assassinating folger and then teabagging him made the 360 purchase worth it.
Also, right afterward folger and I got into a firefight and right after my shield went down and I had to reload one of you guys slammed him with a shell from a tank. |
I saw the tank, I just keep forgetting about FF and how easy it is to roadkill someone in Halo. I've been an engineer too many times in BF2 and gotten used to tanks just driving through me when I'm on their team. :(
Just played the zombie mode (safe havens) earlier today for a few rounds. I think it's my favorite mode in the game since it's small scale, quick action, and doesn't take a billion shots to kill someone. |
Hahaha Shake, that performance yesterday got me back into Silver. :)
|
Goddamnit. I need to work on my DMR. I swear I was better at this game in the first few days when I was concentrating more on the changes from Halo 3.
|
I'm telling you, it's all about your constant rate of fire. I've been going easy on the trigger lately (spacing my shots a little more to help with the bloom) and even though people are getting way more shots off on me 1-on-1 I'm usually the victor because it only takes me about 5-7 shots on average as opposed to a 6-10 it takes others to finish me.

I know, I know, it's just hard to remember in the heat of raging battle.

"Ridge Racer was a Sega game right?"
I am so angry right now. 10/10 guys. |
So I played my very first Halo MP in the history of ever earlier tonight and it wasn't a complete disaster.
Bungie.net : Reach : Game Details SWAT is pretty crap, tho. |
I swear I must be the only one who likes SWAT. :(
It's just such a different change of pace and so intense most of the time. That and I probably average like +10 k/d in that gametype. It's so easy. |
It can be fun but the point of Halo is variety and ridiculousness, and SWAT all day every day is pretty dull and doesn't play up the game's strengths.
It also comes up on the WORST maps. On Gulch? REALLY? |
I don't think I've ever played it on Gulch. It's usually Countdown, Zealot, or The Cage, all of which are fine with me (Countdown for best map in the game fuck your opinion). Occasionally Paradiso, but Asshole Mountain makes that one lulzy as hell.
|
I wouldn't mind it on The Cage but I don't think I've played it there. I almost always get stuck with it on Pinnacle, Gulch or Boardwalk, and it's a mess on all three.
Gulch is the worst though, if I wanted to play Hide and Go Fuck Yourself I'd sit in the dark and cut off my own dick with a pair of shears. |

I like SWAT fine, but both that and Snipers are weighed WAY too heavily in Team Slayer right now, and neither one should exist in BTB period.
|
Well, I suppose SWAT as a concept is interesting considering how little most multiplayer modes deviate from each other within a game, but it could be down to the map I played on, as after the first few kills, everyone just start sitting in corners on high balconies and hoping for a good view of the area without exposing themselves from the side or behind, and the whole match devolved into something awful. It was like a slow moving counter-strike, but without any of the tension or precision.

Devo, from what I can find, the daily cap is 60,000 cR.
This begs the question, just HOW MUCH were you playing today to actually hit that cap? That's a pretty damn large amount of cR for one day. In before "That's bullshit I got nowhere near that much, fucking Bungie" |
The challenges were only worth 5,000 today, but I wasn't taking into account commendations when I was doing the quick mental math about that. Nor how much cR score attack gets you.
