Something I just noticed, my number of fire users is abysmally low. I think all I have is one Rapidash. So~ I wouldn't mind having a Charmander to add to my team. Let me know what you want in return =o.

Thanking about that, i think i showed freelance my 99 Rayquaza, If anyone is interested on any starter pokemons (first gen) just say so, since i have at least 2 of each (legits of course).

How long is it going to be until I meet Ditto? I just cleared the Steel gym and I'd like to get one for breeding. Are you breeding them off? I'd really like to get a Squirtle but I don't have anything interesting to trade yet, unless you want a Misdreavus.

Well Serebii's pokedex says you can find them at route 218 but you'll need a PokeRadar to find them. So you'll have to beat the Elite 4 first.

I haven't played Diamond at all yesterday (wanted to get back into PoR), but I did trade a Scyther to a non-GFFer and traded a Buneary to Xardion to test my Sister's DS connection. Update: I got into the Ribbon Society!! You don't need to win Master Rank in contests to get in! At least one Pokémon in your party must have 10 ribbons (can be anything) to be enrolled. My Floatzel, Raine, now has 11 ribbons! I bought a Gorgeous Ribbon (exclusive to the the society) for a mere $10,000 -_-; Now my team can get spa treatments ^_^

Not doing much in the game right now.
If anything I'm slowly checking out where all the hard-to-find Pokemon are hiding (like Porygon and Vulpix.) Also, I managed to catch Cresselia, Giratina and Rotom the other night. After 20 minutes of walking I didn't feel like chasing down Cresselia again so I used my only master ball on that. On the other hand Giratina didn't put up much of a fight as I thought it would. After about 10 ultra balls and Dusk balls I eventually caught it too. With that done I think to myself, there's so many new legendary Pokemon running around ._.

I heard Nintendo did register the trademarks Pokemon White Gold and Black Silver some time ago. I'm not sure if this is true but I don't think there's anyone in the world who didn't expect a GS remake to happen eventually. I wouldn't discount the possibility immediately.

I'm somewhat of a n00b to pokemon. I was into the original blue version that came out on gameboy. Never really played after that, and I pretty much forgot most of the weaknesses and everything. I guess I'll learn as I play through this one.

No, it's not that bad. I can think of worse typings even if it really mattered (which it doesn't, unless you plan to take this into the meta-game). Besides, it's essentially like picking the Hard difficulty for the beginning of the game, which is fun. Yellow was brutal because of that, since you only had Pikachu and your choice of various Normal and Bug-type pokemon which did shit to Brock's Rock-types.

Still, if you're disappointed, a lot of us here can give you any starter you want.

Yeah, it's not that bad at all. I only said that because using a Chimchar in my team probably isn't a good idea. I already have Machamp covering the fighting type~ my only issue was using a dependable fire type or a pokemon that's capable of learning alot of different fire moves.
Hopefully for me Charizard was a good choice, despite his huge weakness to rock types.
