I looked up the name before, but the screens I saw showed the wrong type of radar so I didn't think it could be that. I guess they were from the PSP version after all.

You are correct, it is indeed Carnage Heart. One of the most interesting and unique games I've played, and yes the PSP game has a pretty different interface. Hope it gets a domestic release.
