EDIT: Oops, didn't see this page when I was responding to this. But yeah, I agree with you guys. |
Seriously, I know it's just to advance Sylar's ominous prescense in the show or whatever, but why do they have to keep giving each person Sylar kills in five minutes, so much personality to the point that I wish they were a regular on the show?
I wanted Dale to lay the smack down on Sylar so bad :( She was one of the cooler 'filler' characters to date. |
This and prison break's were just awesome

Great finding with the gun, Mohinder probably comes back to see if Isaac can paint who or where Sylar is. I doubt Peter will be there when Sylar comes to kill Isaac, with his new powers Sylar hear Peter's heart racing at the sight of the murder (but it would be cool to finally see how Sylar takes his victims powers. I reckon Peter has all of Sylar's powers expect that he just doesnt know he has. When ever he uses a powers theres always a trigger, like when the invisible guy attacks him with the wooden poles. He will probably come across these powers accidently. Oh did anyone pick up on how Sylar is able to now levitate!! woman - "I didnt hear any footsteps" Sylar - "Thats because there weren't any!" On an interesting note, I think Sylar just gave the same (or similar) speech to Mohinder about 'finding them together' as he gave to Mohinder's dad in the episode titled "Six Months Ago."
(Anyone want to confirm that?) |
Just out of curiosity, why does everyone assume that Peter absorbed all the powers Sylar took. After watching the last episode, I was under the impression that Peter only got the telekinetic powers because that is all he saw Sylar use at the homecoming.

On an added note, it seems Peter doesnt require as much 'practice' as Sylar does, remember Nathan told Peter he flew, but then they fell because Peter was too heavy, but Peter manages to carry the invisible guy very easily. I'm also thinking the reason why Peter has trouble controlling his powers is because they are all emotion related. I'm guessing when he nukes New York he must be really pissed off lol |

Peter's power seems to have a conscious all it's own, however, because now it seems he is able to think about people, and doing what he wants to do. He can fly now because he wills it...not just because he thinks of his brother. He stopped the pole because, typically, when using telekinesis you think about what you want that object to do...I'm sure Peter wanted that stick to litterally stop...so it did. I'm sure in one of these episodes, Peter will be like "Yo...this pop is warm, I want it to be cold" and boom, it's froze or something...that would be funny. See at the same time though it's interesting...if Peter absorbed all of Sylar's powers, wouldn't that mean that he also retains every bit of information a la Charlie? She didn't even have to read a book, she could hear something or see something and file it away in her head. |

I don't know how to double quote in the same post, but Sousuke pointed out the paragraph above. I'm guessing Peter can copy powers just by being near the person. Like he also copied Nathan's power before either of them knew that Nathan could fly. I would assume that he can copy all of Sylar's powers, he just doesn't know what they are yet. PS: He met Future Hiro on the subway, that means that he can manipulate time and space like Hiro can. |

I didn't see Peter as turning "evil" or dark or whatever. He was just pissed at Issac because 1) he kept Peter from Simone and 2) sold Peter out to Bennet and caused Claude to leave. I'd be pissed off at Issac, too.
We all know how easily Peter could have killed Issac if he wanted to, but he didn't, so I don't see how he could be considered "evil" at all. |
If Simone is dead, then that means Peter's dream of blowing up the city is wrong becuase she was there with Issac. Therefore, couldn't the whole notion that Peter is the one that blows the city up be false?
|
That's true. I never thought of that. She was there at the time Peter blows up. Unless Simone is not dead. She could have a power? All the tag line said was "someone dies", that could mean the super-hearing lady not Simone.
