I actually like the larger maps. I vote for those.
|
Speaking of dimensions, is it safe to assume that all of the characters in this game are a convenient bite size? After all, I can't imagine more than two normal-sized dwarfs fitting into a room thats only 35 inches square.
|
YOU CAN POINT OUT MY MISTAKES WITHOUT EMBARRASSING ME, YOU KNOW :(
|
My apologies. I found the mental image of Monster-in-my-Pocket sized characters scurrying about worth a chuckle.
|
Also seconding the larger maps. Broadband crew represent
|
I prefer the current small size, still, but please don't make me have to use the left and right scroll keys.
|
I'm on shit DSL, Pang, and the detail in those images are fuckwin. Shin sure is a beauty.
I'd say that it would be good to keep doing focus areas like you have though. If you don't need to show the entirety of the map in one of the turns then don't. And knk, they're called popups. They were originally made for drop down link lists but were expanded to include other bbcode like images and stuff. |
What do you want to bet that pain increases a ghoul's strength check?
I'm sure that chain can't hold forever (ellipsis) |
Perhaps that would be why cutting off its head with an axe would be a great idea if was easily accomplished.
|
All you had to do was go AROUND the ghoul, but no. You have to kill the flesh-eating abomination.
Typical. |
I can't see how it being dead (for good) would be a bad thing.
|
If a cannibal comes back as a ghoul then what do you think happens when a ghoul dies, huh?
That's right, a Super Ghoul. Of course, if you kill 5 Super Ghouls, you form Voltron. |
Oh, I see now.
Why do all the parties that insist on living in this hell keep a damned pet? FUCK! WHY COULD THE PARTY NOT HAVE A PET YELLOW SLIME?! |
Because a slime lacks even the most rudimentary brain functions and would be fairly difficult to tame as such :(
|
Because we can't get to the north fucking door without killing the ghoul. And the other door is BURNED. That bodes POORLY.
Ghoul > Dragon |
I hope somebody knows how to subdue this dumb animal.
|
One would hope a paladin has some kind of attack in his arsenal that turns back the undead in some way.
perhaps some sort of death clock |

Alas, no. Clerics only, nowadays. :( |

shit. |
So, if I may ask, what exactly is a paladin good for now?
|
Well, a lot of Paladin attacks do Radiant damage (which undead are usually weak against). He just can't make them scatter like tenpins anymore.
Paladins were seriously just overloaded with crap before, which was roughly balanced with alignment requisites. You get to do everything a fighter can do, and everything a cleric can do, and some extra stuff, and you get a horse! But you must be Lawful Good. Now that alignment is really only a fluff element (hell, most of the pantheon is Unaligned) it ceases to be a restriction, so some of that shit had to go. |
I vote we feed the wizard to the ghoul. The enemy wizard that is, not Bob.
|
You say "the western door in the trap room". That one's already open, did you mean the east traproom door, or the west ghoul-room door?
|
East traproom door, I had my compass upside down.
Additional Spam: Woohoo! More monsters! |
Well Shin looks like you're finally going to accomplish getting somebody killed.
