In addition to the soundtracks there are already two rips available. One older that I don't know where it came from (in mp3, the most common one), and mine (in ogg). Care to share the tracklist of your rip? Here's mine:
Good Lord, it's been nearly two weeks since I looked back here. >_< I'm not even that busy...

The common one (I'm assuming that's the one I found) is missing a ton of tracks, and I never found your Ogg Vorbis version, although admittedly I didn't search exhaustively. Mine's in MP3 form, assmbled and double looped from the game's Ogg files. I figured since there'd be some loss in decompressing, assembling into loops, and then recompressing, I might as well recompress into the more common MP3 format.

Okay, that makes me feel a little more justified; I think I found a few songs you didn't. I realized too late that the Water Curse track is actually used in the game, but I'm too lazy to fix the track order, especially when it's the same song as Stay Out of the Moonlight.

Sonic 3 Jan 21, 2007 01:30 AM

two weeks? It's been almost 3 months for me!

Yeah I was wondering if there was already a rip for the Arcade Version of Pac-Man Arranged, found on the Namco Classics Vol. 2 Arcade game. The is a rip for the GBA version, but....I'm looking for the arcade version.

Also is there a rip for Pac-Man VS on the Gamecube?

niki Jan 22, 2007 12:51 PM

So I searched around for a while and came to a conclusion no one ever made any recordings of the early Gauntlet games. Posting here to make sure before I start doing my own rips of at least the NES ones.

nesquik Jan 23, 2007 05:34 PM

I'd like to request a rip from Platoon (PC, 2002 version).
Thanks.

eriol33 Jan 23, 2007 09:36 PM

Pocket Fighter gamerip is available at kairyu's ftp. you could move it completed section. the music is not really great I'm afraid. =P

nesquik Jan 24, 2007 09:03 AM

datschge Jan 25, 2007 05:38 PM

I have a recording of the bit gnerations games which appeared on neogaf. No idea if it spread here as well.

Hey sometime ago, I found some music files from Sonic CD. They were extracted from the game, but they weren't actualy used in the game. Someone went through the entire CD and found some them compressed. The guy said they were probably used during the continue screen, as in each level had it's own 'continue?' music, and they only lasted for about 10 seconds. Does anyone know what I'm talking about? They aren't included on the Jap/US Soundtracks.

If so, could any of ya extract these from the CD again fo me? Or at least point me in the right direction....

Monkey King Feb 3, 2007 08:21 AM

Man, that took an assload of searching. Curse my undying persistence. By any chance are you talking about these?

Those aren't continue tracks, though. They're from a beta version, where it seems they were dabbling with the idea of using short PCM audio clips to bridge the gap between CD audio loops. Sounded like a brilliant idea, but the fact that it was ultimately dropped suggests it didn't work so well in practice.

Thalin Feb 3, 2007 09:32 AM

Me and Magusstorm have finished our Summoner rip, you can find it in the My Stuff forum, and you can remove it from the list :)

SamNogard Feb 4, 2007 07:26 AM

I would like request
The Legend of Spyro: A New Beginning (PS2)
Thank you very much.

Sonic 3 Feb 4, 2007 10:42 AM

YES!! Thanks for the link Monkey King! I was searching for those for ages, and could never locate them again!

Good to see such helpful people out there in the world!! Keep up the good work! Now if I could only find someone willing to rip the Events from Drakengard for me....

kuttlas Feb 5, 2007 01:34 AM

I can help you on this, kuttlas. I have the game and I've been planning to rip it since a little while, but just never got around to do it. I'll try to finish a rip this week. If I forget, bring it back to me. ;)

DragoonKain Feb 8, 2007 04:30 AM

Anyone know what FTP has DVDRick's GT4 gamerip? There is a song in it I've been trying to acquire since the game came out.

Thanks

Atreus Feb 11, 2007 06:15 AM

Is there any chance someone could do a gamerip of Wario Ware: Smooth Moves for the Wii? There's no soundtrack planned, which pains me to no end. Jimmy D's theme is awesome

Regnair Feb 14, 2007 12:12 PM

could somone please rip the music for Kingdom Under Fire: the Crusaders

alazlam Feb 18, 2007 06:58 PM

I'd love to see the Xenosaga 3 be ripped. The OST only has 40 tracks of reportedly more than 100!

SuperSonic Feb 19, 2007 07:01 PM

So guys...what systems are those games from? I've never played any of those games.

cubed Feb 19, 2007 07:05 PM

Xenosaga III -> PS2
Kingdom Under Fire -> Xbox

SuperSonic Feb 19, 2007 11:22 PM

I just saw that Kingdom Under Fire: The Crusaders had already been requested. D'oh! Anyways, I added Xenosaga III. Thanks for the info, cubed.

kuttlas Feb 21, 2007 03:25 AM

First off, I would like to request Ratchet & Clank: Going Mobile (cell phone). I don't know if it even has music but if so I would like a rip simply because it's R&C.

Secondly, is there a soundtrack/rip available for Sky Odyssey? I couldn't find one, and it's relevant to my interests (Kow Otani) so I'm going to rip it if not.

Also the following games have been ripped and can be removed from the list:

Top Gear: Dare Devil (PS2)
Lemmings (PSP)
G.A.S.P!!: Fighter's NEXTream (Deadly Arts) (N64)
Rakuga Kids (N64)
Space Station Silicon Valley (N64)
Running Wild (PSX)
Speed Punks (PSX)
Wild Woody (Sega CD)
