I'm having weird issues with some SF2 characters from my collection: Every once in a while the A.I. decides to open up a menu in the middle of the fight and navigate through its options (all in Japanese).

I have no clue what this is and there seems to be no way to close the menu other than waiting for the A.I. to quit it and unpause the game.

On a releated note, some of these characters seem to act on their own even when in VS mode. As soon as I approach the other (human) player's character, it would strike at me without the player even pressing any button.

Needless to say, this is really annoying and something I need to get rid of.

First you zip or rar the folder you want to share and don't use rapidshare, I hate their 1 hour wait and 20MB limit, use filefront for big files or megaupload for 200MB or less files.

For switching to catergories in EVE, I have used the default system and select defs.

Also, I've been to mugennation, they have taken it down? Is there any other place to get ChamCham from?

Can you post your .def files? Categories have never worked for me in EVE.

I have just uploaded the entire directory of EVE mugen with categories, it is slow to download though, as I don't know how to use rapid share or mega uploaded.(If someone does, please do.)

Hi, I am new in mugen, but I succed in installing a lot of characters and stages... however I have a problem, I have read about the doublered = 4 and it worked great, however, as many others, I have problems with the lifebars

I have downloaded many lifebars compatible with doubleres=4 but all of them have the "specials bars" in the botton of the screen (ala MVC2) and, as many must know, many chars have their own bars there (ex: Zero from megaman x).

Has anyone a bar compatible with soubleres=4 with specialbars just below the lifebars (like in Kof2k)?

I specially like the lifebars that came with the "svc ultimate mugen" pack, however I couldn´t find a hi resolution version T_T

Is it so difficult to fix it oneself? (I have manage to make my own select screen with trial and error XD)

I have rimururu and nakoruru and I think they both are from SSpirit 5 XD

It has special bar right under lifebar.

Lifebar editing is quite easy, basicly what you'll have to do is to change the resolution of the font, simply make it two times bigger. Programs like Photoshop (to resize the file) and Font Editor to adjust the changes to the font file will be useful.

Yeah I have a good lifebar that needs your settings to be "doubleres = 4"
and has the specialbar just below the lifebar and has great sounds. It's from Capcom vs. SNK 2 heres a pic

In case you dont know, all you have to do is extract the lifebar to your data folder, open your screenpack's "system.def" and change "fight = whatever" to "fight = life_cvs2/fight.def"

Is there any way to make a black square appear in the select screen just after the character selection and before de stage selection? I don´t have any space to put the stage selection (I complete de screen with character boxes :P) in the screen and it would be great just to make a small background for this... I don´t know if someone understand what I am talking about...

i think life bars are too much of a hassle... unless they really bother you that much then there is no reason to change them unless they suck and look really dumb. As long as you can rip your enemy apart with a good combo or attack then the lifebare shouldnt matter.

As far as I'm concern it is not possible, at least I don't recall seing or hearing abouth something like this. If I were you I would bypass it by slightly editing your stage font. Just make a black boarder that won't be transparent (lets say 2 pixels long) from the top and bottom. This way you'll get an imitation of such a box only with font. So if you put "A" or any other letter you'll get:

Suddenly a giant light bulb flashed above my head, there must be some kind of combination that triggers this menu, study character command file and try to dispode of this entry and see what happens.
