Also check out the Zelda retrospective on their site. Really interesting take on the zelda game time line. |
Yeah yeah yeah, I know, check GameFAQs and all... but I'm stuck in the Water Temple... I have the boss key (and clawshot of course), raised the water level ONCE... and am also missing the compass... I'm at a loss as to what to do...
Anybody else know what to do? PS: GameFAQs does not have any FAQs for Zelda... they might now, but probably only Forest Temple. |

I might have gone about it backwards... I have the compass and the clawshot, but no boss key yet.
Is the boss key the one in that little secluded room in the east that you apparently need to drop down to? HOW DO I DO THAT?? I spent an HOUR trying to figure it out! |

And thanks, I checked back after I finally figured it out. I felt like such an idiot. :edgartpg: |
Wow, how about that beautiful piano song that plays during the events after you beat the 3rd temple? UGH, SO AMAZING.
Also, I vote for the Mailman as best video game character...... ever. |
Just one question.

Anyone try/beat the Cave Of Ordeals yet? I keep dying around 44 or 45... :/
What do you get at the bottom? [edit] Never mind, finally got to the bottom. THREE Iron Knuckles on the last floor... Grr. But then you can go to any of the Springs and get the Great Fairy's Tears... Basically a Blue Potion with a thing that increases your attack. For free. Which isn't the greatest reward for completing something like that, but... Oh well, it's better than nothing. |

I Haven't even GOTTEN to the Cave of Ordeals yet. Is it story-related? I just reached Snowpeak, so I definitely have some more exploring to do... If it's not story-related, where can I find it?

It makes me feel awful knowing I had absolutely no help in getting past the lakebed temple, and you guys cheat by using walkthroughs and asking each other and stuff... and you guys still get the exact same cutscenes and things as I do :cussing:
It's Paper Mario 2 all over again. My ego demands recompense. |

But all and all I beat the game in 41 hours and I must say it was a great experience. I really look forward to all the sidequests and what Nintendo can do with a Zelda built originally for Wii in the future. |

Not that it's doing me any good right now... *glares at his bricked Wii* |
Dude, go phone Nintendo's tech support. Email sucks ass. Talk to an actual person. Nintendo has excellent customer support. Lame that your Wii got bricked but go do something about it. In the meantime you can backup your saves to a sd card if you want. I'm pretty sure Nintendo will transfer those over to a new Wii for you though.
Just put in 10 more hours spelunking around in caves, searching for golden bugs and heart pieces and poes, and talking to everything I can. Man, I didn't even stumble across the warp zone at the Zora River where the fishing pond and boat shop are until hours after I'd beaten the game. Apparantly I'd only gone past the place as a wolf or swum past it because you can only activate the zone as a human. Fishing is fun though and be sure to look at everything in the fish hut. Marbles! =D |

Just so long as you don't give me a Goron hug.
That was the creepiest scene in the entire game. Screw the Shadow Temple, screw Ganondorf, screw Morpha ass-raping Link every time he/she/it caught you in the tentacles, the Goron Hug was the one thing in the game that creeps me out the most. Link was right to run away screaming. |
Well, Just finished this epic and clocking in at 52 hours...I must say, the 2 year wait for it was well worth it. I think it ended too quickly with the last fight, but wow. You guys who havn't played it yet, go get it. Now.
Its time to collect everything now. |
