And most of it is the same artwork as the game it comes from. :(

Dopefish Aug 15, 2007 11:42 AM

I hope this doesn't completely eliminate trophies, but that's a hopeless hope.

Chaotic Aug 15, 2007 12:44 PM

They said in the update,

Quote:

Stickers are easier to get a hold of than trophies. Just play the game and you’ll start to earn them as rewards.
So they haven't eliminated them at all.

Kaleb.G Aug 15, 2007 04:30 PM

Pretty interesting that the stickers are basically all of the official Nintendo art that has been put out in the last several years. For example, that exact Hammer Bro. image has been used in New Super Mario Bros., Mario Party 8, and probably more games. I wonder just how many stickers there will be. It seems like there could be several hundred.

Sword Familiar Aug 15, 2007 05:36 PM

Wow, collecting stickers will be fun. I really don't see the point. I hope there's more to them than just sticking on a paper.

RacinReaver Aug 15, 2007 05:56 PM

That's sarcasm, not a pun.

Sakabadger Aug 15, 2007 05:57 PM

But puns are fun!

Guru Aug 15, 2007 08:44 PM

MEGATON: Toad is going to be a playable character!~~~~ He has his own sticker, this is evidence!

Buizel Aug 15, 2007 10:18 PM

Hey, maybe collection stickers will unlock USB printing so you can print them out! Making your own stickers!

ZS Samus' whip can be used to recover from a fall. Whee.

When are we finally getting Snake's profile, dammit?

It'll sneak up on us very soon (chortle chortle.... ahh... whatever). JOKE FAIL!

The most interesting part about today's MEH update is the fact that others can perform this kind of recovery. But is it like SSBM? What I mean is, if you use Link's hookshot (SSBM) after falling off the edge, you could latch onto the side and it acts as a platform. Rather than pull up, the hookshot touches the side and gives you a boost.

Does it mean you can now pull yourself up? Maybe it's just me, but while a cool idea, the hookshot/grappling beam to the side of the stage was bloody hard to do and pretty much useless considering you've got three jumps to make it to safety. Being able to pull up may also help if someone is "edgehogging".

Probably never, because I thought I read somewhere that unlockable characters and stages wouldn't be posted on the site, and from what I understand, Snake is an unlockable character.

Yeah, today's update was especially "meh." It was so "meh" that I honestly have nothing to say about it other than "whoopee."

Dekoa Aug 16, 2007 11:16 AM

Yeah yeah yeah, we all know it's a Meh update, but what intrigued me about it were two things.

1) They've alluded to Zero Suit Samus's ^+B move. THat means that the move must have something to do with her standing on the ground and using that whip up at falling characters making it easier to juggle.

2) It was a "SPECIAL" move. You know as in the ^+B move? That mean's it wasn't the grab like Link's or Samus's grabs. That means that some recovery moves might not move the character up at all but instead just hurts a person, but they can still use it as recovery if timed correctly. This way they are trying to get people to use the move more often.

I also think it was to show Zero Samus ^ + B move, kind of a waste of move, unless, it really does damage .

Besides I used the hookshot/grapple beam recovery jut in certain situations, it was either when i needed to move horizontally or I had to wait before going back to the stage. And I think people didn't use it, because for example it is hard to land it in Final Destination.

Eh eh eh, look who's back and looking more awesome this time around:

OH NOES!!! She's looking really lovely though ^_^.

Amayirot Akago Aug 17, 2007 02:27 AM

/me wonders if these models were taken from Super Mario Galaxy

Looking pretty sweet.

Chaotic Aug 17, 2007 02:36 AM

That dress of hers is just lovely. :)

I wonder what her Final Smash is... A Parade of Toads?

Dekoa Aug 17, 2007 06:59 AM

Today's update was such a Meh update. Though the dress does look lovely.

So is that a Pokemon stadium they're fighting in or what? Did I miss an update?

Lukage Aug 17, 2007 07:45 AM

Look at that sexy ass bumping Mario.

Peach is my favorite, so with such a dull week, I've got a somewhat satisfied feeling about what's come this week. Maybe someone NEW next week!

Dekoa Aug 17, 2007 09:02 AM

I wonder if they'll reveal the Pokemon stadium next week, they haven't yet but they've told us so many times.

Kanzaki Aug 17, 2007 09:16 AM

I knew they had to announce Peach someday, but since she was in the Space Emissary vid, I though it was "usless", besides showing her new detailed dress.(I never liked Peach's B move, Toad has last-gen graphics (just like F-zero racers in Melee ) ) Maybe Pokemon Stadium will be next week.

Right now there are 16 characters, I wonder how many will be in total =D

Peach's B move is her most powerful and underrated one. You'd be a fool to not use it if you play as her.
