Also, why the main event today is

RVD vs Cena vs Edge for the title
Is because
Spoiler:
RVD was busted for pot with Sabu.
lol.

Its not really their fault. They needed some piff lol.

Spoiler:
I dont care that Edge wont the title. As long as it aint Cena.

Hope you're happy, Rob...All those years of taking those sick bumps, all of those crazy moves and all of those injuries and you get jobbed out as champ before the DVD release of your title win comes out (and when the main event is SUPPOSED to just be a stupid tag match) because you're dumb enough to get pulled over with marijuana in the car. Moron.

At the VERY least, I think Edge has gotten over very well since the first MITB thing and will be an effective champ. He's grown on me and he's fun to watch in the ring. I'm thrilled Cena didn't win it tonight...I'm sick of him and the push he's gotten just because he carries the perception of being 'hip' to the ring with him.

FUCK YOU, CENA!

*clap clap*

FUCK YOU, CENA!

That should be the PERMANANT RAW chant!!!

One thing though, now that RVD lost his WWE title, does he still have the ECW title on ECW Tuesday night?

Slash Jul 4, 2006 12:00 PM

RVD and Sabu got pulled over for driving unhappy...then RVD was found in posession of 18 g of MJ and 4 vicodin..and Sabu was in posession of like...9 controlled substances

khan0plinger Jul 5, 2006 04:06 PM

regardless of sabu or rvd getting busted...this is still funny..yet true

han89 Jul 8, 2006 02:05 AM

Yet true? NO WAY!

Ok i know i don't want to admit it, but he did flush ECW down the toilet for his crap of WWE!!!

Sweeper Jul 11, 2006 01:12 AM

i think Candice Michelles should join DX, since she isn't really doing anything at the moment besides being in promos :) it could open up alot of more stuff DX could do if they had more members... which could lead to different factions coming in cuz vince's spirit squad isn't enought to stop them lol

Wojo Jul 15, 2006 09:37 AM

Ok this is strange. This morning on fox news they were talking about if America is leading down the path to another gas crisis. One of their guest panels was JBL.

What the fuck is JBL doing on Fox news giving his opinion about politically related stuff?

Vampiro Jul 15, 2006 10:14 AM

He's been on Fox News a few times. They stuff he says on TV about giving finical advice isn't made up. He's actually written a book about it and made multiple guest appearances on shows to discuss it. I believe he has a talk show too...

Slash Jul 15, 2006 12:03 PM

Yeah. JBL is really smart as far as financial stuff goes.

like Vamp said he has written a book and for a while had a show on FOX or something untill something happened

Vampiro Jul 15, 2006 12:34 PM

Pretty sure it was that whole goose-stepping in Germany that got him canned.

Slash Jul 15, 2006 12:49 PM

yeah...

--Many observers considered Layfield's future in WWE to be in doubt after an incident that occurred during a WWE house show in Munich, Germany, on June 5, 2004. In an attempt to draw a negative reaction, he gave the crowd several Nazi salutes and goose-stepped around the ring. Such a display, if used to incite riots or for other political purposes, is illegal in Germany. However, since the display was intended as part of the showmanship of wrestling, it was not illegal, despite ongoing claims by members of the Internet Wrestling Community; and so no action was taken. This incident was referred to by Michael Cole on the June 30, 2006 edition of Smackdown!. Layfield responded by telling Cole that his remark was "not funny."

On June 8, 2004, CNBC, which had recently hired Layfield to regularly appear on one of its shows after he had become prominent as a financial commentator, terminated its relationship with Layfield for his actions in Munich. (It should be noted NBC Universal was in the process of acquiring WWE television rights at the time.) However, Layfield's actions did not prevent WWE from putting its championship belt on him. Some have even speculated that it was this incident which encouraged and strengthened the decision to make him WWE champion. Shortly thereafter, he was rehired by Fox News Channel (where he previously did guest appearances) as part of the Saturday morning business block.--

Vampiro Jul 15, 2006 12:51 PM

Who would've thought something like that would give way to one of the worst gimmicks in wrestling history.

Slash Jul 15, 2006 01:06 PM

But it also makes him more of a heel type getting the belt and all that stuff.

Vampiro Jul 15, 2006 01:10 PM

Nah, it just makes him really annoying. Not only was he overused, but he was needlessly obnoxious, a horrible wrestler, and just a bad gimmick. Plus, he held the belt for far too long. Being on of the reasons I stopped watching Smackdown.

Slash Jul 15, 2006 01:18 PM

SD! has gotten better. Lets see if taker "kills" kahli this year

Sweeper Jul 15, 2006 11:28 PM

it would be cool though if Kane came in with the undertaker to take out kahli. :)

Wojo Jul 16, 2006 11:22 AM

I'm going to agree with Vampiro. JBL was one of the worst wrestlers I've ever seen. I hate wrestlers with such basic boring moves. That's partly why I don't watch wrestling that much anymore.

han89 Jul 20, 2006 07:36 AM

This DX thing started the best thing since the brand split, but now it's repetitive don't you think?

I think that the spirit squad makes DX look ridiculous...because they are a bunch of stupid looking people butting in a feud with two great WWF legends!!!

You should check out indy wrestling then. Honestly, while I like the crazy moves they do, I don't think they're needed. You can make the most basic stuff look devastating. This is something I learned through actually performing. In the independants, you have those INSANE freakin moves that are always gonna recieve a HUGE pop, but at what cost?

mortis Jul 22, 2006 01:18 PM

I suppose it also relates to how much the other person sells. If a person were to take a clothesline and just fall back, then get up again, it would not be effective. however, if they did a back flip onto their face/stomach, it would look a lot better...

Eh I would but again I just said before that that one was one of the reasons why I don't watch wrestling as much anymore. I am just losing interest as a whole and trying to grow out of it.

It's entertainment. People want those huge, crazy, flashy moves. It's definitely not need, but it looks good and fans love it. It's especially helpful for TNA, for example, who's using that as a way to propel themselves up the wrestling ladder.

Zip Jul 25, 2006 09:35 AM

yeah, if you want 2 guys slapping eachother why not check out real fighting. High flyers is the only cool thing in pro wrestling :).

And why are we imitating wrestlers that went from main event status to low-midcard status in just about 2 months?
