That really sucks... I was hoping that they'll finish up the fillers with the current arc, since they're throwing all the available characters out there, making it seem like they'll finish off the fillers with a bang.

I'm getting pretty close to just giving up on Naruto and focusing on Bleach. This is getting out of hand.

But aint Bleach on the same road as Naruto? I mean at least Naruto didn't go overboard between the first and 2nd arc .. and the Bount Arc is just boring.

Oh, I meant that I'd go back to the Bleach manga. I'd been barely keeping up and just focusing on Naruto for the last couple of months, but barely anything of interest has happened.

I agree chato, Bleach isn't really going anywhere new either. We're about to enter another Rescue ____ Arc in the manga and the anime's still in filler hell (why, I have no idea). I just find the characters a whole lot more interesting than the almost exclusive group of characters Kishimoto seems to be choking us with lately.

I almost feel like going back and re-reading Death Note. I tried getting into Negima but I can only handle so much fan-service in a single chapter. This is coming from a guy who read Tenjou Tenge religiously.

Yeah. At least DBZ didn't fall into a huge filler othan the Garlic Jr. Saga and stupid episodes before the Cell Tournament.

Chapter 319 is PURE filler. They can't screw up the next chapter, because it would be wrong to leave out Akatsuki members for two chapters in a row.

Those titles about Kakashi Gaiden were, fakes, a bunch of losers that read titles for Naruto every day gave several reasons why, like the way they were written in Japanese for example was wrong. I wish they were true too but it just doesn't look like it is in any way.

Not sarcasm. I can't stand training sessions in manga, especially if they last more than a few chapters. In this case, we're watching Naruto do something totally boring while every other character is doing something EQUALLY boring.

Naruto started good, but the fillers ruined the flow. I don't read the Manga, so I don't know what's going on in that medium, but I'm sure it's good. I just hate the fillers and quit watching the show altogether after that "life-saving curry" episode. Oh well, Shikamaru and Itachi are my next two favourite characters. I hope they do good things with those two.

I have to admit though, the second Naruto movie was pretty funny at times.

Power-up/training arcs could be good if done correctly, and are not the main focus with only 1 or 2 other pages used for something else. One Piece for example actually has very few training arcs (if any, really) but when there are short spots of one of them training there is usually a lot of other stuff going on, or it just doesn't even bother because who really wants to see people screaming and charging up?

Think of it this way with One Piece...Oda could make it completely a bore fest if all we watch for an entire chapter is Zoro training (he seems to be the only one really training). Rather he just shows him for 2 panels with dumbells or something and goes off to Luffy being an idiot. It is great that One Piece doesn't have just one main character focus.

Not trying to get off topic, it seems weird to me in One Piece how Luffy just start using Gear 1 and 2 without showing his training. Just me I guess.

Hopefully with all of these fillers, they will make up for it with a very long time period with pure storyline and no to little fillers. At this rate, soon half of Naruto, or perhaps, more than half of the Naruto anime series would be pure filler episodes.

I was pretty surprised to see Sasuke at the side of Orochimaru. that got my hopes up, but only for a fleeting second. these next 5 weeks might be torture!!
