I have Diamond and just got done with the Iron Cave landing me an egg, and the exp from that has landed me primed to take on the 7th Gym Leader.

Crash: since my modem is hard-wired to my laptop (i.e., no need for router), I went ahead and got the Wi-Fi Connector off Amazon for about $25 (It was actually 20, but 5 bucks for shipping -_-), which is at least cheaper then you'd normally find it, so if you're planning on getting that, check Amazon out.

I'm playing Pearl, and I just beat the seventh gym as well, but I haven't done some of the sidequesty stuff like the Iron Cave and such. I have to wander around and get some of the eggs available and hatch 'em up.

I do, however, have a very underleveled team, I think. My highest level is a Charizard, at level 38. My starter [Piplup] is only at level 32, and everything else I have is 30 or lower.

Amusingly enough, I beat the water gym using ONLY a level 28-29 Charmeleon, and Dragon Rage. Good fun.

Anyway, if anyone's up for a battle or a trade [I don't have TOO much to offer, but if anyone is playing Diamond and needs some Pokemon from Pearl, let me know], just hit me up with a PM here.

Anyway, I'm still really undecided about my team. I've gotten as far as choosing a 5th, but not much after that.

I'm trying to get my Riolu into a Lucario, but I train him to quickly and he misses most of his good attacks around Level 20. So I have to figure out a different plan. <_<

I haven't done much battling at all for the past few days. So I'm definitely up for a few matches.

Anyway onto my report.
After defeating the Elite 4 with my half-baked team-- [To recap I finished with my team mostly at level 52, one is level 57. Like BurningRanger I hopped in there with the mind set of getting my ass kicked. But with a good supply of Full Restores and Hyper Potions I made it through all right.]

So, I decided to see and catch the last three pokemon needed to obtain the national dex, which was alot easier than I thought too. Only Mespirt wanted to run around but at least the game allowed me to see a picture of it before it flew off. So then I ventured off to the Snow Point Temple and quickly to this Battle Zone island. I really like how I can purchase almost any TM I want over there. Only problem is earning the points to get them. You have to have a insane amount of time to battle your way through for a TM. Three battle points after seven matches? And this one TM I'm interested in will cost more than 30BP ._.

So I said fuck that and now I'm slowly exploring the rest of the island :3.

I imported my 5 Linoone team last night along with a Snorlax so I can get yet another useless pokéapp, and tried them out today.

WOW. Within a few minutes I have gotten a Sun Stone, 2 Dawn Stones, and a Dusk Stone, along with a PP Up and other non-important items. This Thursday late night, I'll be giving away some of my stones for freeeee, so let me know if you want something. Oh, I also got another Eversttone from a Geodude (all my Linoones has Covet), so I'm giving that away too.

I plant and harvest Corrn and Wepear berries every day. I want a Surfboard and black sunglasses.

Too ridiculous. Luxray soloed Fantina's gym (yes, I'm still that behind everyone else), and learned Crunch right before facing Fantina. All that worrying for nothing with OHKO/THKOs. Here's a fun update to add to everyone's list of teams:

Looks like I utterly wasted a daycare opportunity since I put my Shellos in and it gained 16 levels over the course of the game so far, but I can now catch Gastropods or whatever the next form was. I put Meditite in too, but I heard you can capture wild Medichams later. Have to put some thought into my next set to level up for evolution.

Would somebody be willing to uhm trade/give a charmander to me, I dont have any old gen pokemons, so uhm if you want i can give you my luxray, or dialga or lopunny.

I can give you a Charmander, assuming you can wait until Thursday :3
Of course, I can try trading earlier than that, but I dunno if my router will like it. I think some other people here would already be able to breed them though. I don't want anything in return.

Wow, And Here I was taking a small break from Diamond and I see you guys go past me a little. I've gotta work on it more later.

My progress has pretty much slowed to a halt, as I've been bartering in the trading forum at GameFAQs. It's incredibly difficult to work faster than so many others, but I've been able to come out of it with a male Ralts and a Castform. Works for me, though I'm still trying to find someone with a Spiritomb or Spiritomb egg.

By the way, anybody here need a Drifloon or a Cranidos? I was fortunate enough to nab a female Drifloon on Friday, and I've found so many Skull Fossils it's ridiculous (in addition to the female I was able to revive from one). I'm looking for a Misdreavus or a Shieldon (or a Ditto, or a Combee, or a....), but neither is necessary. Just want to help people out, as well as spread the Drifloon love-- seriously, best pokemon to come out of this generation.

Just something that's fun at every level but one, hehe. At my point in the game, it seems as though everyone left me in the dust ages ago anyways, so I can only compensate with items that are somewhat annoying to find.

@Sarmoti, yeah if he wants it quick, then it's better for you to trade.

@Generic Badass, if you don't mind waiting until end of the week, I can breed a Spiritomb for you. I was lucky to get a Japanese one in the GTS.

Also, is it even possible to trade an old-gen monster over GTS, since you can't even ask for the ones that you haven't seen? So if someone has never seen a Charizard before, they can't ever request for one? I wanted to trade a Charmander for a Draipon(sp?), but I don't think much people would be able to see my request unless they already a Charmander, and that would defeat my whole purpose of offering one on GTS...

That'd be huge, since I've had to deal with assholes who, in the end, only wasted my time.

As for old-gen trades, maybe you can see them in GTS if you battled them in multiplayer? Still not a large audience, though.

If you cannot encounter it in the game it is impossible to trade for on GTS, since Wi-Fi Battles do not count for seen pokemon obviously.

This leaves out like half of the pokemon roster from GTS for normal people.

Wow...while GTS is a cool idea, the fact you can only trade D/P specific pokémon in it lowers sorta dampens the feature quite a lot.

I'd still like a Draipon(sp?) though. Can't be arsed to find one myself.
