The next Bohren & der Club of Gore album is up, and if I have time, I'll probably upload Dredg's Leitmotif album later on, since that was the only one that didn't show up in the last crop of Dredg uploads.

Just posted a mixer of sundry records, more to come tomorrow.

*rushes off to download peter brotzmann*

Draz Mar 4, 2007 10:12 PM

First upload evarz posted. Hopefully it is not met with too much scorn.

8-Bit stuff ftw.

wvlfpvp Mar 4, 2007 10:16 PM

not just 8-bit stuff. virt stuff.

Virt stuff awesome.

Maybe I should post the Forgotten Tides stuff since Jake's taken it down from his webspace.

Schadenfreude Mar 5, 2007 02:52 AM

The couple of Evens albums knk posted are awesome.

wvlfpvp Mar 5, 2007 06:43 PM

Umm . . . heads up, folks: the last two downloads that I've had from Megaupload have been severely corrupted.

wvlfpvp Mar 7, 2007 10:59 AM

So, I finally have both ULLAdubULLA I and II. Anyone out there want this shit?

Also, fuck you PAL countries for being able to have fucking War of the Worlds live 2006 DVDs.

Servilonus Mar 8, 2007 12:00 AM

I'd really like to see those other Bohren & Der Club of Gore cds uploaded. I have them on queue from this one dude on Soulseek, but I'm like 2,600 something in the queue.

Oh and if anyone has Boris' "Flood", I'm missing part one, so if someone could upload it, I'd really appreciate it.

Skexis Mar 8, 2007 12:23 AM

Sorry, I should have realized people would want to hear the other albums, but I've been trying to delete a bunch of stuff I don't use on my hard drive lately.

Here's the torrent I used to get them.

Schadenfreude Mar 9, 2007 06:22 AM

I recently got around to downloading those "London Is the Place for Me" compilations knk posted, and damn, that's some good shit alright.

Arkhangelsk Mar 10, 2007 09:49 PM

I would die for a Rolling Stones gamelan cover, actually.
Someday I shall upload my Black Sabbath in Latin with traditional Medieval instruments cover album...but for now, I think I should make good on my promise from way back when: to upload some Esquivel.

Arkhangelsk Mar 10, 2007 10:22 PM

Dammit...in the wrong thread.
Anyways, head over here for the Esquivel! offering I've upped.

Since spring break has given me some free time :).

I'm running a torrent of this right now from Demonoid.com, if you're interested I can send you an invite.

Also, I recommend everyone grabs the record Arkh uploaded just now. Good stuff.

Has anyone checked out the latest (2nd) album of Arcade Fire? It is pretty good, the album branches out quite a bit from there last album Funeral.

heres a review

http://www.pitchforkmedia.com/articl...ire_Neon_Bible

heres a link to the torrent http://www.mininova.org/tor/611978 (note it has both albums, but you can download which one you want) they're also in flac and in one big file. I hate how rippers do that but it is good for archiving, now I need to remember how I split the file up. Yeah I like my music in flac :o

Here is a quality encoding in mp3 http://www.mininova.org/tor/593658 (i'm anal about that to, you should see my pathetic hardware setup though...)

Yeah, those of us here in the MEC prefer something that doesn't take up almost a wav's amount of space so if you're gonna provide something like that how 'bout you do it to a file format with a reasonable filesize, kay?

TheXeno Mar 14, 2007 05:32 PM

I added a link to a mp3 version. After listening to this album for a few days I do like Arcade Fire's first album better, it is their sophomore album though.

No it's not. In fact, now that you mention it, I think it's a good idea that I edit that first post to delete that part.

Also, this is the thread for discussing what get posted in the sharing thread so I went ahead and moved your post in here. :D

Schadenfreude Mar 27, 2007 10:32 PM

Shameless self-promotion in the MEC ahoy~

Matt Mar 27, 2007 11:14 PM

Hey, someone uploaded The Prize Fighter Inferno!
I'd heard Claudio did a side project but never did find out what it was until seeing that.
