How did you 'skimp' to get a better video card? I have that same video card, costed me $180. Twice the amount of ram ($130), and MB ASUS A8N-E NF4U 939.($90)

I want to say that this video card is awesome mcawesome for the price. I reccomend everyone get it if they're looking to upgrade and are on a budget.

I run oblivion with max settings for about 10-30 FPS. Very playable. I have medium-long load times with it. Your less ram may hinder you though.

All source games will run perfectly with the setup. At max settings too.

Titanquest is a very beautiful game and runs OK. It's very buggy right now but very fun.

As expected, World of Warcraft runs fine as well.

In the Future there's that new Heroes of Might and Magic game, and some others that i can't remember too well. I haven't played Fear on this, but Prey ran like delicious butter on the chest of a hot woman.

Anyone know of a good Helicopter Flight Sim? I am looking for Apache Longbow Assault, but it appears to be out of print... :(

I originally had an Asus mobo picked out that was $110, but I downgraded the board to the Gigabyte one ($60) and used the $50 difference to upgrade the video card from a 6600 to the 7600GT. It is a pretty awesome card, and now I wish I had just dropped the extra $50 in the first place and gotten both.

I had Titan Quest, but had major problems with it. It's a fun game, but I could only play for 45-60 minutes before it would CTD and it usually corrupted my save files when it did. I'll probably give it another shot once it's patched a bit.
