This old guy reminds me a lot of the customers I talked to on the phone when I was tech-support... damn those guys are mean...
as far a murder is concerned it can work two ways: 1. You won't be blamed because it was the old guy's fault for not taking care of himself and not getting anger management knowing the consequences for not doing so. 2. You would be blamed for it because you made the guy angry. Personally I take number one. |

You've done more than enough. You made him look like an idiot in front of a laughing crowd and you even told his supervisors. You probably got them to monitor his behavior, or even worse, he already lost his job. U won the quarrel already. I'm sure the next time he sees u and your gf, he won't have anything to say. If he goes off again, go at it. But until then, just let it be.

I've encountered people like that before, and from my experience, you're better off just letting it go. You will always meet people like that, and it's better if you just let it go and not worry about it (be glad he didn't go into work with a machine gun or something, that'd be even worse).
Like others have said, you already "won" this little debate anyway, so leave it at that. I'm sure that guy's got more pressing concerns (esp. after the management heard the complaints), and doesn't need someone to start more crap up for him. If you're still so angry as to hold a grudge against this man still, you may need some anger management classes yourself. Just stop thinking about it, and in time you'll see that it's not worth getting angry over still. |
