I just rented it the other day. Encephalon is right on with his comments. Liked the movie, loved the look of it. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone who couldn't stand Waking Life and was hoping for improvement. Instead of philosophical ramblings, you get druggie ramblings throughout most the film, can't imagine that's much of a improvement for the skeptic crowd. I'd give it a B overall.

It had good pace and great performances (most notably Robert Downey Jr.) but narrative takes a back seat to style. Viewers usually find themselves marveling at the animation or the look of the film instead of concentrating on the story; and this is a film that demands strict attention from the audience. So if your mind is elsewhere, so will the film.

This movie has CULT FOLLOWING written all over it.

Yeh completely agree with you, its worth watching again and again for that reason. When I watched when Keenu's character is talking to his boss, I just looked at their constantly changing faces trying to spot the repeat lol .

The characters kinda remind me of Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, them living inside their bubble of insanity.
