Probably not a good idea to suggest that anymore. What you were doing was assisting a suicide which also counts as murder and can get you charged.

EDIT: Actually that only applies if the person is feeling suicidal. I misread that.

I used to once do that, but it was in a suggesting way, i merely asked the person if they could help themselves to stop complaining their problems to me and just kill themselves if they cannot deal with the stress of life and for some reason cannot just wait for the problem to settle. In a way it feels good to help but on the downside, i think the person went along with what i said which isn't the best thing when you don't realize how influential your words can be to some people. Interesting concept though, to bad suicidal people are hard to come by where i live or else i could test my theory more to see if people that are suicidal take bad advice more seriously than people who are not on the verge of taking their own life.

I thought you actually had to help the person kill themself for it to be assisted suicide. Otherwise everyone that gets mad and says "Oh go jump off a cliff" is committing assisted suicide.

Well, it is the same idea as not being apart of a crime but seeing it happen (unless you were victim) can make you a considered outside help. Saying "go jump off a cliff" can actually be used against you if someone from that family had heard you suggest that and then the person you 'were kidding around with' does it you can be charged for that...it is crazy i know but that is how it works sometimes :lolsign:

I actually did this once too. When I was in college there was this guy I met in my psychology class (of all places) who I was doing a group project with. One night, we all met at my house and after we figured we'd had enough brain cramming I decided it was time to kill brain cells. I broke out a case of beers and we all just kicked back and talked shit for a few hours.

Pretty soon everyone started leaving except for this one guy who was already a couple beers past his limit and he wouldn't shut the fuck up about his girl problems. Not that I don't mind lending an ear to anyone who has problems with the significant other, but if you're going to ignore my advice and just say, "I want to fucking die, man. She LEFT AND I DESERVE TO BE DEAD" maybe you need a little fucking persuasion.

I went to my room, got my .22, walked out to the patio, took out the mag, loaded one bullet and handed him the gun. He had this look of utter disbelief on his face like I had asked him if I could light my farts or something. He just quietly got up, got in his car and drove home. Yes, he was drunk as fuck. No ma'am, he never came back to my house or spoke to me again. Good riddance.

I am surprised you would only load one bullet, if he was drunk and missed, you could just easily say, try again and let him shoot himself a second time. If he missed then i would just say it is a lost cause and forget about him.

To be quite fair, I was fucking wasted too. I only loaded one bullet because I figured that if he actually took the gun and shot at ME, he'd only clip me with a small caliber. It would hurt, but it doesn't have the killing power unless he put it to his head and painted my fence with his brains.

Oh, true...but at least being drunk helps with the pain! I mean, by the time it actually should hurt, you would be so wasted you would probably just go unconscious until someone called the police or you awoke 3 hours later laying in a pool of your own blood...

Hence what I tried to avoid by giving him the low caliber pistol.
