I hurried out of my final to come home....BAITED BREATH!
Double Post: I seriously thought last night: What does Reggie do to prep for this? Does he sit in his room and play SNES? Does he take cardboard cutouts of Master Chief and Snake and rip their groins out? Maybe they have a Wii Rave Party! |
LOL, I can see chaofan posting every second post for the next 4 pages.
|
Give me news on Mario 128!!! What ever happened to the hype for that game?
EDIT: Damn straight NovaX. First time watching live-feed  |
All I want to see is Reggie enter the stage on a motorcycle tugging a PS3 behind it.
I couldnt care less about the Wii if I saw that :D |

Nintendo's reaction should be interesting, if not a little obvious as well. - WraithTwo - |
What I anticipate the most is some in-depth information concerning launch titles for the Wii. Though I expect Twilight Princess footage to dominate the speech, once again.
Because, really, this game aims to be simply awesome. |

Still, Wii seems to be the most entertaining of them all... |

Plus there wasn't a fountain of games to drool over or have wet-dreams about. Or something like that ^_^. |

Even if those were the "only" things wrong with the conference (and they basically were), that's more than enough. - WraithTwo - EDIT: As far as games, what's everyone looking forward to? Personally, MP3, Smash, and hopefully announced Metroid 5 and/or Smash for the DS. |

That made my day! But yeah, if they could give a little of the old elbow at Sony, just for a second I'll be happy. What I'm waiting for is the price, release dates, the secret (which will probably be speakers on the Wiimote), Pilotwings 64 and many others. I just hope Miyamoto doesn't show up again with Link's sword and shield. God was that embarassing. |
Honestly, Nintendo can probably do no wrong after the shitshow last night with Sony. It doesn't help that the conference itself sucked, but NOBODY was into it in the audience. There was a laugh and golf clap when Ken pulled out the Dual Shock 3, and a deafening silence follwed by murmurs after the price.
The press hated it just as much as everyone else did. |

Hang in there guys!!! (actually, this applies to me more. Gotta stay calm!!!)
Nay for Miyamoto in Zelda dress!!! Dude noooooooo!!! |
Sony's conference suffered from a serious lack of compelling innovations.
On the contrary, I hope Nintendo shows off its distinctive traits: good emphasis on the impact of the Wii system, concrete demonstrations of forthcoming games (like Nibris' Sadness, yet to be seen in any form), new surprises and relieving details on the price. |
I like the fact that Nintendo didn't really released footage or pictures for the games. At least, not much and some of it looked like beefed up GameCube graphics which was what they predicted.
So they won't pull 'Fake Footage' stuff like Sony and deceive millions. |

Testing screen is gone. No more posts for me until after *i promise*!!!

Edit: where is going to be a good place to get full resolution (640x480) direct feed footage of the games they'll show? Would Gametrailers.com have them? Streaming makes everything look like crap, after it's done I'll probably want to go through and grab videos of all the games that looked interesting. |
|
No more color bars on the feed... Almost time!!
