Yeah, I'm now REALLY interested in how Microsoft reacts to the Sony conference.

Nintendo's reaction should be interesting, if not a little obvious as well.

What I anticipate the most is some in-depth information concerning launch titles for the Wii. Though I expect Twilight Princess footage to dominate the speech, once again.

Because, really, this game aims to be simply awesome.

Reggie sneaks into the E3 supply room the day before to take all the name (tags), when everyone complains, he kicks them right into outta space. Then he goes and plays a few rounds of Smash Bros, as Donkey Kong. He wins simply with DK's taunt. Somehow. Nobody dares question his mystery winning ways.

Could someone please explain me Why do people keep saying Sony's conference was so bad? I think it's quite good. I actually liked everything except from a few games (I dislike Sport games, mostly), the controller thing and the price. Everything else was quite good in my opinion.

Still, Wii seems to be the most entertaining of them all...

Some of the things they announced weren't taken to well by many. Price, conservative approach to controller, (unnecessary?) tilt-function etc.

Plus there wasn't a fountain of games to drool over or have wet-dreams about. Or something like that ^_^.

Well... eight days seemed quite good to me.. also FFXIII and MGS4... with some other titles.. I don't know, it doesn't seem THAT bad.

Well, what other console stuff have they been working on for the last 2 years? They should have a lot saved up by now, it won't be hard for them to to have more at this E3 than the other companies have (especially since about the only major stuff they had on the console side at the last 2 E3s was Twilight Princess...which is now for the Wii, go figure).

Its just that the games looked even worse than most expected (I expected games worse than last years footage, but not to this extent). However, that's not even a huge deal. The biggest problem is that the controller, pricing and seperate package deal was just THAT. BAD.

Even if those were the "only" things wrong with the conference (and they basically were), that's more than enough.

EDIT: As far as games, what's everyone looking forward to? Personally, MP3, Smash, and hopefully announced Metroid 5 and/or Smash for the DS.

What I'm waiting for is the price, release dates, the secret (which will probably be speakers on the Wiimote), Pilotwings 64 and many others.

I just hope Miyamoto doesn't show up again with Link's sword and shield. God was that embarassing.

Honestly, Nintendo can probably do no wrong after the shitshow last night with Sony. It doesn't help that the conference itself sucked, but NOBODY was into it in the audience. There was a laugh and golf clap when Ken pulled out the Dual Shock 3, and a deafening silence follwed by murmurs after the price.

The press hated it just as much as everyone else did.

Sony's conference suffered from a serious lack of compelling innovations.

On the contrary, I hope Nintendo shows off its distinctive traits: good emphasis on the impact of the Wii system, concrete demonstrations of forthcoming games (like Nibris' Sadness, yet to be seen in any form), new surprises and relieving details on the price.

I like the fact that Nintendo didn't really released footage or pictures for the games. At least, not much and some of it looked like beefed up GameCube graphics which was what they predicted.

So they won't pull 'Fake Footage' stuff like Sony and deceive millions.

SSSHHH, that's the big new secret behind Zelda Twilight Princess ruined. :(

Ugh...I just remembered how terrible it is trying to watch a Nintendo conference. I saved that video of Twilight Princess being revealed just because it was funny seeing the croud's reaction. I hope we can hear Miyamoto in this one over the people screaming "WOOOOOO!" and "YOU DA MAN!".

Edit: where is going to be a good place to get full resolution (640x480) direct feed footage of the games they'll show? Would Gametrailers.com have them? Streaming makes everything look like crap, after it's done I'll probably want to go through and grab videos of all the games that looked interesting.
