I think it's all just a case of people feeling like they can do what they want and be someone else simply because they don't have to deal with it face-on, so to speak. The internet is a mix of fucktards trying to be something, and genuinely clever and interesting people. Guess which one I am... >.<

I think people do get dumber in groups, because people feel peer pressure to prove their intelligence, or to prove that they are worth something, whatever it may be. Peer pressure usually leads to bad things. Pressure makes you act stupid and mess up.
