MetheGelfing, LeHah said you were a dumbass, not a hypocrit.
|
Lemme get this straight. According to Lehah, Sanguis Deus is stupid for being hypocritical, and I'm stupid for being a conservative.
If this isn't the case, then perhaps Lehah could educate me. And maybe he could do it without being so insulting. |

I, myself, reserve a sense of pity and yet hope that you may soon realize what a fat-assed, hypocritical, drug-addict, windbag Rush Limbaugh is. "People who do drugs should go directly to jail and burn in hell." "What? Yes, I take 30 doses of Oxycontin a day, I'm not a drug addict, I have teh preskrpshunz!!!" Oxycontin, by the way, is pure china-white heroin. You'd be hard pressed to find shit that pure on the street. And, before you go off on "Well, it's FDA approved!!OMGZ!" All you need, once you've procured a pill is a little ether to cook it with and you have introveinous heroin. |

I think this whole liberal/conservative linear graph bullshit is ridiculous. It gives people some sort of broad label, making it easier for them to group anyone who does not agree with them into the category of the "other."
I'm conservative economically, but not socially. I think some sort of subsidized healthcare system would work, notice I didn't say "nationalized." On the other hand, I believe in fewer taxes (while trying to optimize the spending in regards to our income), no corporate welfare and, well, fuck if you want to marry someone who is the samesex, go ahead. In fact, I'd probably abolish government regulation of marriage (this includes giving tax benefits to married couples, it's discriminating against single people, if you ask me). I think that my ideas are pragmatic, not that they uphold one moralistic view over another. I try to be a fairly tolerant person, but, unfortunately, a majority of the human population is not socially evolved enough to be tolerant. That's fine, it might change over time. It might not. The idea is to minimize the impact of intolerance in the general populace without infringing on the rights of individuals. |
Spoiler:
Or more specifically, a Corporate Anarchist. Which I think is just cute, but it does go to show you how much bullshit labelling becomes even within specific political spheres. "Being a Conservative," Why not rational thinker? Oh wait, I forgot. The media has a liberal bias am i rite? |
I wouldn't really describe myself as Libertarian, anymore, though.
I do vote Libertarian quite often, because yes, quite a few of my political views do fit the Libertarian "agenda," but they don't support subsidies for social programs like healthcare. They believe it should be left entirely upto to corporations and their respective HMO/PPOs. |

I mean, you can only pitch a screaming fit so many times before people figure out you have nothing of any substance to contribute. Coulter: LIBERALS BAD, MAKE HULK ANGRY. World: Ok. |

You know, that seems to be most of the mainstream media (political commentary or otherwise), though nothing profound or entertaining, yet we're still subjected to their drivel.

I think Coulter is funny, and I agree with alot of her points. I also think Bill Maher (sp) is funny too, and I don't agree with alot of his stuff. I like to listen to Glen Beck because he has a conservative spin, but his show is hilarious and mocks everyone. Rush is just a republican mouthpiece and I think he's boring. You folks who hate Coulter for her right wing views, take a listen to no talent hack Al Franken and the whacked out things he has to say.

I think she's a dumb bitch who wants to be taken seriously.
Wesker, I can laugh at what Ann Coulter has to say, but it's not because I necessarily agree with her arguments, she's almost like a really big charicature of the right-wing. Bill Maher is incredibly funny, even when he's not using anything politically loaded in his routine. The difference between Coulter and Maher is that Maher is sort of an independent (He says he's a libertarian). He's not that liberal, he's more of a centrist. Al Franken is, well, he's Al Franken, I don't really find him to be that funny. I would like to see someone who is a political Nihilist, actually poking fun at both sides. |
Wesker if you're just gonna keep on reposting the same thing over and over while disregarding our posts that point out the flaws in your defense of that cuntface, then do us all a favor and don't dabble in this thread. Or, y'know, the internet all together. Just suggesting.

Also, whenever I said: "So I'm stupid for sharing the same ideology as Coulter." Quote:
So, I'm dumb, and all conservatives are dumb because we share an ideology with Coulter. Way to overgeneralize. That's like saying that all Christians are evil cause you think Pat Robertson is an asshole. And Technophile, as much as you think Coulter is a dumbass, she still has made a lucrative career doing what she's doing. If she really had nothing to offer as you've stated, then she probably wouldn't have a career. I don't think Britney Spears has anything to offer, but others disagree and she's obviously made millions. |

I think Coulter is funny, and it's especially funny how bent out of shape people get whenever they take her shit seriously. She's obviously going out of her way to be extreme and push people's buttons. |
Quote:
So anything i say that is extreme and not in the right-wing's best views, why am i labeled a terrorist and taken into custody ( happened once to me)? Shouldn't they know not to take this shit seriously? |
