MewTwo and the new balance patch are out. Among the best changes are the ability to share replays, screenshots, stages, and Mii Fighters with friends!

The Splatoon Test Run was having issues so I switched to Smash. Tails, Qwarky, and Acer followed suit. Acer left after one match with CHz tagging in for the rest of the shenanigans. Good games guys! Can't wait for Tournament Mode to come out...whenever that might be.

Hey Tails, when you Smash with us chumps, how much would you say you sandbag it compared to when you play with goons who know what they're doing?

Not a whole lot, really. It's two different type of games between the two groups, and I goof around equally with both. FFA with Items is a different bag than 2s or 1v1s, so while I'm not trying 100%, I'm still actually putting in effort because the chaos often levels the skill playing field.

Sakurai is going to have a pre-E3 presentation this Sunday at 10:40AM EST and will be about "all new content".
So this will probably cover the DLC characters on the way, but I'm hoping we're going to find out about the release of Tournament mode, the Miiverse stage, and Sharing as was described by the 50 fact extravaganza 8 months ago. His presentation will consist of "Lucas is available now!", "Don't forget Mewtwo! Available now!", Amiibo cards compatible with Smash, some reissue of a previous Amiibo and probably some tiny little thing you can do by connecting your 3DS to your Wii U and have a copy of Smash for each.
Sharing replays is already in the game so I doubt they'll let you share anything else. Stages maybe? I forget if those are already shareable. |

So tourney mode is kinda bad. You can make user made tourneys but they're all 4 player FFA and everyone that isn't playing waits in training mode until it's time to fight. Spectator mode (along with 1v1s) are limited to the official Nintendo tournies, and those are even worse since they're limited to 2 stock 3 minutes.
Come on Nintendo, you have a whole community you could have asked about this. :\ Anyway if y'all ever feel like doing an actual Singles/Doubles tourney let me know and I could use my Challonge account to make a bracket and we could do this on a Saturday or some such. |
Since we had only three people at around Kart time (myself, CHz, and Qwarky), we decided to Smash instead.

Also who here would be down for buying this game yet again as a rumored launch title for the NX? Maybe Ice Climbers will return since it won't be hindered by the god damn 3DS. |
I'm sure I would rebuy it on the NX, though hopefully the Gamecube adapter would still work.

It's USB. People have gotten it to work on the PC. If Nintendo can't get it to work on a new system then they should go out of business due to hemorrhaging massive incompetence.

It isn't that they can't. I'm sure they're perfectly capable. It is whether they will or not.
Microsoft was capable of supporting xbox 360 controllers on the xbox one but chose not to. It is very possible Nintendo will decide to just not allow it to connect. |
