Eh, might as well throw in these two:

http://www.shoujomagic.net/update/index.php
Shojo Magic has, you guessed it, large amount of shojo manga and their selection is wonderfully diverse. A very large amount of the titles are pretty racy, if not even taboo (such as the scandalous Boku wa Imouto ni Koi wo Suru - Secret Sweethearts), so you've been warned.
That said, seems like they're finally getting their torrents up, so anyone tired of going in their channel should find that a relief.

Spoiler:
http://www.doujin-world.com/index.php (h-doujinshi, you've been warned)
Doujin World is an excellent site for translated h-doujinshi (this means porn, be warned) and they have a massive list of completed projects. Their irc bots are fast and friendly and the website even offers helpful commands for operating them so you don't need to read through dozens of lines of ugly irc text.

While a large amount of their releases are doujinshi, they have translated a few high-quality original works as well, such as Saigado's Boku no Seinen Kouken-nin and Takemura Sesshu's wonderful Take on Me.

The only group which have scanlated that which I found is Izumo no Ryuu, found on http://www.iryuu.net/ or izumo@irchighway.net . Haven't read it yet, but the cover art is amazing...

They seemed to have stopped scanlating that for a while though :/

eriol33 Jul 22, 2006 10:25 PM

The story actually has nothing really special, you know, boys and girls who are blessed with power of japanese gods (suzaku, seiryu, byakko, etc) I have read up to volume 4. It shares similar aspect with general shonen manga, a bit like Bleach I guess.

Would anybody happen to know if any sites are hosting the Outlaw Star manga? Viz picked up the rights for it a few years back but have yet to do anything with it.

I've checked MangaUpdates.com and they listed the group that translated it but because of the newly acquired licsenses for the US, they took it down.

Would anyone know who's scanlating Keroro Gunso, and where someone could find it? Thanks!

Roku Sep 22, 2006 03:27 AM

Since Pikari has stopped translating Tsubasa RC for a while, I think its appropriate I post an alternative source for the manga.
EDIT: Whoa, what are the chances... she just came back! Ah well - there you have it. The forum below is still a quick source for scanlations though.

http://www.capturedwings.net/forums/index.php
Go to their "Manga" section to find translations and scanlations of the latest Tsubasa RC chapters.

And here's a group that's not listed while I'm at it - they seem the only ones doing MSN:

http://www.aquastar-anime.net/
For the latest quality scanlations of Mahou Sensi Negima manga. Their forums updates regularly with the latest translation for RAWS they have yet to scanlate.

I'm surprised nobody has suggested The Evil Empire:

http://s11.invisionfree.com/The_Evil...ex.php?act=idx

It's a forum that basically has a CRAP LOAD of manga titles ranging from one shots to complete series. Most of the titles I think are shounen ai, but regardless, good forum nonetheless.

A taste of the titles:

http://z11.invisionfree.com/The_Evil...showtopic=4657

One caveat: You've got to register and have 10 posts (for me it took like 20) to even look at the mangas. The mangas are uploaded via a variety of upload services and sometimes the link can be outdated. But if that happens, I usually look at http://www.stoptazmo.com or what was previously suggested, http://gotlurk.net

With these sites, you're bound to get anything you're looking for. No buying manga forever! (which I never do, but anyway) :)
