What if someone who believes that video games promote violent behavior read this kid's little speech? Their reaction would be "Gosh I wonder where he got the ideas for those torture methods from, Grand Theft Auto or some other video game, I am sure!"

This is the stupidest shit I've ever heard. Now videogames are going to get even more bad press. But it's not even that, the fact that these kinds of retards exist all over the place makes me hope for some kind of world war so that natural selection can take place. I hope they all get the death penalty, and the one that's testafying, I hope he gets raped 300,000 times in prison.

I'd be mad if someone stole my xbox. I mean, it's a lot of trouble to write a thank you note.

Darkcomet72 Apr 12, 2006 04:21 PM

Although Devo is right, someone tell me the chances that the Media will Twist this into "6 people killed over XBOX".

Of course it had to be in Florida. :(

I remember when our house was broken into, whoever it was stole my Megadrive and games. I kept the instruction manuals seperate in my mother's room, in a small drawer, seperate from the games. Why? I don't know. But they took them as well, as if they knew.

The funny thing is they only took certain things. Like the Megadrive, VCR, but not the tv. This was in 1997 though, and I'm pretty sure my best friend's parents were behind it. They were dutch, and they invited us over for a party. The father had to go to a "business meeting" soon after we arrived, and then we find out that we've been broken in to after leaving. So yeah, it was kind of obvious.

It was even more obvious when we saw them in a different location(they were moving, hence the dinner party) and they hopped back into their car and speeded off as soon as they saw us.

I'd still like to smack them in the face, especially the dad, because I'm 99% positive that it was him. But we can't prove it, so what can you do? Nothing, really. But if I caught somebody with my gear I'd definitely get violent. I'm not even a violent person, but messing with people's gear isn't wise.

And why else did you think I got rid of it in the first place?!? So some jerk ass doesn't get the idea that... oh forget it. It's been mentioned already. :annoyed:

And I'm not a kid. I KNOW what's right and wrong. I KNOW the difference between fiction and what's reality. Stop making accusations. I was venting my anger out, OK? Don't worry, I'm ok now. I've calmed down since that post. I'm not gonna kill anyone or do I want to find those murderers and kill them. I'll let the legal system deal with those scumbags. I just hope they get the death penalty.

So just forget it, OK?

You getting all upset like this is just so cute. I just want to pinch your little cheeks.

Hey man, the individuals cited in the article on which this thread is based were just venting their anger, ok? So we should just forget about what they did, OK?

Lizardcommando Apr 12, 2006 06:46 PM

The individuals cited... the murderers? They were venting their anger? Gee, of course they were! Well, in an unhealthy, sick, disgusting, harmful to others kind of way, they were.

Ok, ok... I'll drop the useless arguement now. Let's just forgive and forget. Deal?

And please tell me that first comment was sarcasm.

Yes, and on this note, I'm moving this thread to Gen Disc.

Thanks for the reports. ;)

nanashiusako Apr 14, 2006 09:21 PM

Why would they point out the system? The system didn't make them do it...they were sick freaks already. God, the media makes me sick, Sick, SICK.

Chaotic Apr 14, 2006 10:21 PM

It was BECAUSE of the system. THAT'S what made them do it... Sheesh.

I mean, you must be some sort of friend to drag other people in to kill someone JUST for an XBOX. I mean if it were for a child or maybe a car or something, but an XBOX is ridiculous... Utterly ridiculous.

splur Apr 14, 2006 10:30 PM

I'm sure it was the Beat Your Ass to a Pulp with an Aluminum Bat game which was released on Xbox which influenced them to do this. lol.

Oh well, they'll die too. They're worthless pond scum whom will probably kill again. So just get them outta the way, death sentence YEAH! I'm not pro death sentence btw, but in this case I think it's a great idea.

Chaotic Apr 14, 2006 10:38 PM

We'll probably see a game on the XBOX exactly like that...

Uh-oh... expecting the media to be intelligent... dangerous thinking there xp
But seriously, the media is incapable of doing anything besides throwing meaningless code words together.

Honestly, I can't figure out how anyone can look at that guy's criminal record and think this was all because of an XBox. I know Jack Thompson probably orgasmed at the thought, but he takes joy off of anything involving inaccurate data and requiring total ignorance to believe and uses it to be his mean-spirited bastard of a self. But Jack Thompson also ranks 2nd on my list of people most likely to eat puppies for breakfast, right after bin Laden.

And let's just pretend for a moment it really was for an XBox... while no game system is worth killing over, an XBox? The console whose sole purpose is to wrestle more money from PC gamers?

Zio Apr 14, 2006 11:20 PM

Rather stupid I must say, more then likely if she was not going to give it back. All he had to do was pull out a piece of paper that says you bought it,(Yes, I save them just in case.) and then call the cops or do what I do as well, etch your name into the bottom of the console. That way it's even more solid proof.

Meh, there was better ways at getting his stuff back then to kill the people.

Oh and btw, no matter WHERE they move the trial. Come on... It's like those MJ trials. No matter where they are held, the jury is going to already be prejudice to a certain degree rather they hate or like him.

lol. lol. lol.

What. If you were going to post in Moonspeak, the least you could've added was "XBOX IS HUEG."

Yeah... What?

All your posts are huge run-on sentences...

But seriously, there's nothing like a no0b with numbers in his name to throw off the discussion.
