I also checked the release date back then, but i guess i failed at calculating the time span again. Thought it already where three months while it only were two.
Anyway, if the nomination is not going to be refreshed in any manner applicable i might nominate a track from the album, maybe a different one.

My understanding is that if a nom is too new, it doesn't just hang around until the three months expires--it has to be nominated again. As such, once the three months are past, you can nominate the song and album again if you like (though I'd check with Ed to make sure you're not biting his style).

It has come to my attention that an error was made with this week's vote calculation and allotment. I take full responsibility for the mistake, which is on a par with the many greivous errors committed when I ran the BDC and fresh proof that I cannot be trusted to run anything.
