I don't care how fucking awesome that game is (or in this case, is not), I'm still never going to read that book again.

After playing Bayonetta I can't see how anybody could want this game for any reason other than somehow liking the story or setting. The gameplay is just awful.

No, they're not. Save for The Flood, which was just kinda ugh all over for various reasons (different author, basically the game in book form, etc).
