Man, YSI was so easy in comparison to Rapidshare (click here...pick your mirror, wait...) and Megaupload (no I'm not interested in passion.com bimbos posting barely legal pics).

upload.putfile.com or something intrigued me after checking out my high d/l speed from that...I think I'll move there

I don't know! Megaupload might be spammy, but at least it works most of the time I use it. Can't say the same for YSI and most of the other hosts... :D

The price for sending anything over 50 megs is probably an answer I don't wanna know about........

And I agree with Dark Nation on this one. YouSendIt hates me too. >:(

Ummm, hate to burst your bubble and all, but sendspace sold out as well. Instead of sending up to 1 GB, the limit is now 300 MB.

vuigun Apr 11, 2006 06:54 PM

Darn, well, I guess it'll still have to do.

Is there any better choices then spendspace?

I don't even want to try out that Rapidshare stuff. Insert Code here, Gigantic advertisement there...

vuigun Apr 11, 2006 07:22 PM

Well, I care if there is a better program than it. I don't want to be using stuff like Rapidshare and then find out that there's a faster, better service I could have been using all along.

MU has always been slow for me. YSI never gave me any problems, but I've been able to download older files with MU's longer time limit.

I only liked YSI because when you click on the link that leads to the download page you don't have to wait, or click on something else, or type some type of verification code. It was really neat and simple and no pop ups! but I hated the download limit.

For my Yousendit like needs, I'll giving MailBigFile a try. It seems to work okay and even has a progress bar. Any other 1Gb+ transfer sites you recommend?
Yousendit was a very poor service with quick expiration and limited number of downloads. Well, it's nice to know most of my direct link requests won't be provided by that piece of shit anymore.

EDIT: Damn, MailBigFile only allows 3 downloads, well at least I only have one recipient.

I sold out too and decided to register on http://beta.yousendit.com since I didn't see any immediate down side to doing so.
