Wait, what the hell

I can't even blame BSC for this one as I have listened to all the tracks. I guess this will learn me to not cut it close like I've been doing for the past 25 weeks or so.

thoughts:
Anyway, even though it's not worth anything now, my honest point spread:

2 points: Night Mission
2 points: back in to the machine -phase 5-
2 points: Stage 1

However, in the case that my nom would get 0 points (which I was banking on, until Draconis BLEW MY MIND), it would've looked like this:

2 points: Night Mission
2 points: back in to the machine -phase 5-
1 point: Memory of the First Touch
1 point: Level Theme 2

Anything from Red Zone would've gotten 2 points from me, though I am particularly fond of DataRum. Kyd completely decimates the Genesis soundchip with this soundtrack (Adventures of Batman and Robin is even more intense, if that's humanly possible).

My Milestone and Stage 5 biases need to be satisfied too, and -phase 5- is one of my favorites from the album anyway.

I'm a fan of the Silver Surfer track but I thought it was a fan favorite in the BCC, so I'm not entirely sure why it's here. Was it knocked out early?

And I was really hoping at least one person would catch this: In Stage 1, somehow, the 2 channels don't even loop at the same time. How the hell did they do that?

I knew Level Theme 2 had been in a previous BSC, I just couldn't remember when. Looks like it was narrowly edged out by a FFXII song in the first round of BSC '06.

Honestly, I'd completely forgotten that it was in the 2006 BSC when I made this nomination. I guess that it didn't get very far (hello chiptune hating scum) obscured my memory. I would've hesitated to nominate it had I remembered more clearly. At least a good track finally got its due here.

The fact that no one remembered just shows it wasn't a big deal, and it got the exposure you were looking for.

With Follin on top, this was a good week for me. =}
