Actually, this is a fan-made translation. Nintendo currently has no plans for localization. The only 'pressure' was of the fans towards Nintendo to do the job,
and since they have not, the community has taken it into their own hands.

Who's getting the handbook? That handbook is just awesome, SO preordering that. Its so weird, that we also have Earthbound's Players Guide which is a sight to behold in itself to this day. I can only imagine how much work they pour into it not to replicate EB's PC Guide format (clay models!) but to have Mother 3's own flavor. That's pretty neat. :D

Welp, I guess I know what I'll be doing for the next week or so. Also, by some weird coincidence, my shiny new CycloDS and EZV expansion showed up in the mail today after getting inexplicably stalled in the postal system for a few days. God, strange sense of humor, etc.

So there is a god. Good to know. Wasn't going to start jumping for joy until I had the patch in my hands, and boy is it awe-inspiring to see a fan translation project deliver on a release date promise for once. Looks like it's gonna be well worth the wait.

Now I have to stop failing as a human and finish off my Earthbound playthrough.

According to the post that said that the patch was going to be released this week, it's more accurate to play it on your DS. Oh, and just start it on there. I don't think .sav's transfer.

Well, I've pre-ordered the guide and downloaded the patch. Now waiting impatiently for the Mother 1 + 2 patch.

Heh, I need to finish Earthbound/Mother 2 before playing this. Not only that I have to order an EZ 3-in-1 phat version too as I don't like using my brother's DSlite to play GBA games.

Anyway, it's great that the patch is finally out. :)

Speaking of the guide, I wonder how many people are going to end up ordering one. It looks fantastic; just glancing through it it really looks like it's captured the feel of the original Earthbound guide.

I started the game on my huegbox, but I've decided to wait for my EZ3in1 (for use with my CycloDS) and try finishing Okami in the mean time.
