We all have our ups and downs in this. Sometimes you choose ones that appeal to everyone and sometimes you don't. It's all pretty much luck. That being said, it's your decision. I was in the same position as you and I left for a while, but ended coming back cause it's just fun to see how bad (or good) one's noms do. XD

Well I really enjoy the whole finding new music a lot, but it doesn't feel right to force-feed you guys music you clearly don't like (unless it's APEX, then it's the whole point :tpg: ).

Frankly, being force-fed new things is the best part of SotW! It can either broaden your horizons or give you an excuse to write a scathing review (and lord knows those are fun to write).

Darkcomet went forever without placing, and I can't remember the last time I placed higher than 4th. Even when losing, things can be a lot of fun--and I've enjoyed reading your comments both here and in the BSC.

Yeah, definitely! This was my worst placing yet (last) and I wasn't ticked! A few people rather enjoyed my nomination! It's always fun hearing new music. That's why I keep coming back to it.

On another note, I was browsing through the Sotw's nom archive page and it seems that there might a problem with the format cause there's a lot of red tracks. o_O

I've had bucket loads of nominations that no one cared for but I still nominate tracks in the same vein anyway (I suppose to the chagrin of voters). I guess you never know if the music might make sense for someone and if at least one person likes the track, I think my nomination has succeeded since SotW is about introducing new/obscure/underrated VGM. Of course, there willl be more "voter" friendly nominations that I do put up on occasion because I happen to like them as well and I think more people might enjoy the track.

Can somebody send me this week's tracks? I was on a trip and didn't have a chance to participate.

(I also didn't get to vote last week, and I had a nomination in there. ={ )
