Yeah I believe the right column takes precedence because I saw the same thing happen with Zerg's sig a while ago.

You're going to need to write a lot more than that in the right hand side MrMM.

For example:


If you weren't able to see anything in the left column then your browser is too small. Maximize it or press F11 if you want to see the left column. If you had no problem then you probably have a pretty big resolution.

Also you may see the left column getting cut off. I will take a screen shot of that....

columnsplit v2.0 now with very slightly less table breaking is now live

Also the right-column-overlaps-the-left thing works as intended. Other possible ways of handling that are adding a scrollbar to the left column if it's not displaying everything (didn't do this because it looks ugly as sin and if the right column completely covers it then no scrollbar will be shown) and having the columns appear staggered if there isn't enough room to have both next to each other (thus making the tag pointless).

Any chance of making a columnsplit_l or something which gives priority to the left hand column instead of the right?

If you want to do two youtube videos side by side there's no way to do it on the left. I can make them go side by side to the right. But not the left. I wanted to do this in a recent thread but could not.

Three years between a feature request and a fix? We're skirting dangerously close to being efficient here you know. :)
