More like the clocks went BACK an hour. I woke up at 5:30 AM, it was fantastic. Actually no, it wasn't. But a man can dream, a man can dream.

Of waking up at 6:30 like normal. What a shitty dream that'd be.

I almost lost track of time today. Good thing the computer had the auto daylight saving on the clock.

Maico Apr 2, 2006 08:45 PM

One of the reasons I'm glad I live in Arizona and don't have to deal with all this bullshit daylights savings times and all that. I really don't get it. I mean you're going to just have to set your alarm clock back after several months, so it's not like you're gaining any time. WTF is wrong with people? They should just ban stupid shit like that.

I poked it and it made a sad sound Apr 2, 2006 08:51 PM

I love daylight savings time. I don't have to wait for the days to get longer naturally.

Like tonight. The sun was shining and birds were singing while I was outside working - it was 7pm.

I was finally able to go walking in the woods alone at 5pm when it wasn't dark.

I absolutely love the longer days. It makes me want to get out more, and enjoy the daylight. Its also a lot fucking better when you get out of work around 5 and you have more than an hour of daylight to do what you need to.

I also lost one hour of sleep, and because of that, I was very tired when I came in to work at 7am today. *yawn* I ended up taking a VTO (Voluntary Time-Off) 'cause I couldn't hack it anymore.

*sigh* Which reminds me. Good night.

I woke up really tired and cranky today. And it continued on for the rest of the day.

Down with this outdated crap!
Getting up today was awful, so the afternoon was reserved for Massivenap™

Lost 1 hour of sleep to get rest before going to a basketball game.

I actually lost time by staying up to what I thought was almost 3am. I had to be awake at 8am, so I actually got four hours of sleep. Setting clocks forward and back is pretty annoying.

Well, not eating vegetables was supposed to kill me and I'm still standing.

Get over it, it's only an hour....not the apocalypse, but that would be awesome.

You forget the fact that most of GFF needs its beauty sleep.

nazpyro Apr 3, 2006 03:47 AM

Yeah. I definitely got hammered that night after putting on an annual show that an organization I'm in does. I passed out on my vacuum cleaner at 3am (4am). I was supposed to be back for clean-up at 1pm. Fuck that shit.

It doesn't for me. I was only screwed now because I wanted to sleep earlier so I can beat the DST and get some more sleep in, but someone was playing the piano elsewhere in the apartment, and it's very loud in my bedroom. How can anyone bloody sleep with that racket on? That's the reason why I was so tired the next day. *yawn*

I was so happy when I learned that it was time to set the clocks forward. Since I didn't set my watch back an hour in the fall, I eventually decided that I'd just wait for DST to come back around. I mean, as long as I know that my clock is an hour ahead of everyone else's, what's the harm?

Mercury Blue Apr 3, 2006 09:51 PM

Y'know I didn't mind the whole changing the clocks to an hour forward, but when I woke up really late and go to work super late, I kind of had to get ticked off with it. And my cell phone is old now that it didn't change the time for me this time. Eh I'll get use to it soon.

Dullenplain Apr 3, 2006 10:52 PM

I really do not like DST at all. I'm much more used to having the sky go dark earlier than 8:00 PM and the Sun rise around 6:00 AM.

I had a lousy last two days getting my mind wrapped around "saving daylight" again.

Izlude Apr 3, 2006 11:37 PM

My roommate graciously reminded me that the clocks were moving forward, so I didn't miss class this morning. Thank you, roommate.

Kaiten Apr 3, 2006 11:45 PM

What pisses me off is the timeclock where I work moved up an hour, but they still have yet to set it to the correct time (it's eight minutes fast, and gaining). I lost an hour of sleep yesterday, they should pay me triple overtime for that!

iokcs Apr 4, 2006 04:02 AM

i didnt even notice that the time changed till i was late for my class in the morning.... <.<' its as if nobody knew it was gonna happen.... nobody told me anything, my girlfriends work didnt remind her... which btw she was late to work as well... -.-zz lol
