It is a good idea. I just haven't actually used it yet. I'm sharing some files. I'm still wondering what speeds people get off me.

As for gaming, I have yet to do so.

Hopefully I'm correctly not sharing my printer... :p

You just made me realize... Printer sharing is the "new" faxing!

(P.S. I joined.)

Naz, I'd like to grab Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles, if you don't mind.

Also, enjoy that penis you're getting in your printer. =)

Double Post:
Took me about 2 hours to do it... 172MB / 2 hours = about 25KB/sec.

In for the win. I'll try this out, right after AP exams this week. I'll glady play some classic C&C. Might be neat to play some lagfree Starcraft over this too. Great idea - My username is Dyesan.

Holy crap, this is bad. I just started playing some LAN games (namely Starcraft) with some friends (it was a LAN party). Then I told them to install Hamachi so we can play LAN over internet. OSNAP! This is becoming incredibly addictive. Like my past 7 semesters, this is bad. We're now doing an exorbitant amount of gaming now that finals and final projects are approaching.

Yay procrastination!

EDIT: Holy crap. You know it's bad when you're performing stat tracking analyses on all your replays, viewing everybody's build orders and such... OMG.

For the last three days I've only seen Naz and BurningRanger online, while there are 15 on the network list... What's up guys?

Grawl May 2, 2006 05:59 PM

Why have it online all the time when I only use it for playing LAN games?

Free.User May 2, 2006 06:06 PM

Well how do you guys organize your LAN sessions? Is there a thread I'm missing?

Grawl May 2, 2006 06:15 PM

We're not - if you want to play, you just ask someone, right?

Dyesan May 2, 2006 07:38 PM

I'm trying to connect right now, but it say's the network is full at 16/16. How is that possible, if we only have 15 members on the network list? Oh well, I'll try again later.

Yes, but how do you ask somebody if they aren't online?

Grawl May 3, 2006 05:34 AM

This board features a PM™ feature.

BurningRanger May 3, 2006 05:22 PM

What about filesharing?

Someone needs to make a sticky thread about Hamachi in the My Stuff forum... Hamachi is much more convenient than FTP.

Grawl May 3, 2006 05:33 PM

Uh, no it's not. FTPs are much better at queuing, allows you to set up multiple accounts, add security too (SSL) etc. etc.

I guess so, but I thought it would be more convenient to use Hamachi's built in PM system (Which only works when the members are online).

Dyesan May 6, 2006 11:42 PM

Network still appears to be full...anyone?
