Guess it's kinda neat to see it's going to come out, but I don't really get what all the fuss is about. I got BG&E way back because Circuit City had it on it's $5 sale. I played through it, thought it was fun, though nothing really that exceptional.

I seem to recall enjoying Haven more than BG&E, except for the extra ridiculously hard impossible to find levels you needed to do in order to get the "good" ending.

Between Brütal Legend, Grand Theft Auto IV and this, I now have a grandiose reason to drop $500 on an Xbox 360 with some gamez. I absolutely loved the old one although I have no clue what happened to my PS2 copy and ever since I lost that, I've been looking for it on Xbox. Count me in the "stoked" pile please~

Or a PS3, if you like dem Blu Rays.

I played BG&E ages ago when it first came out thanks to a hype of a friend and it turned out quite awesome. I shouldn't really hype it but stand-alone its pretty refreshing sci-fi platformer.

Indeed, awesome news. I'm all on board and ready for another foray into Jade's world.
I'd be happy if it was simply the same gameplay on a larger scale, but it'll be interesting to see how they try to up the ante in terms of more than graphics.

And that paints a better picture than what you've said too. All things considered, the lack of info, the lack of anything concrete about plans that we haven't heard about in ages, this isn't exactly surprising.

Lends a note of officiality to it I guess, but not much more.

Still, there's nothing in there on concrete, absolute cancellation. So the glimmer of hope that you held originally that this project might actually be completed (hah, like there was any hope of that in the first place) should still shine, as this really doesn't change a lot outside of "well at least they mentioned it by name instead of letting it die off in obscurity".
