This is stupid, I'm not going to sign this.

First of all, even if there IS one million signatures, I guarantee he will not stop making movies. Obviously, he doesn't give a damn what people think.

Secondly, I've never even seen any of his movie, because I don't give a damn about any of those games he makes movies about. Maybe Farcry, but the Farcry games are shitty anyway. Farcry 1 was great, the rest suck.

The real way to get rid of this guy if everyone really wants to, is to NOT watch his movies, and don't even talk about him. If his movies don't make any money, he won't make them.

Holy crap, someone who uses his brain.

(I think the idea of "if his movies dont make money, he'll go away" doesn't exactly work in this case. Boll gets a gigantic tax break for filming in Germany or something, so even if the film bombs - its not as much of a gigantic loss as it could've been otherwise.)

Boll films in Canada, not Germany. The tax shelter law only required that the movies be German-owned (on paper) to qualify for tax deduction, but, as far as I know, the law has since been changed, and Boll recently claimed that he will only be making low-budget movies from now on.

As oppossed to the top shelf material he's made? :)

Wall Feces Apr 11, 2008 11:10 AM

Unless I'm mistaken, I think that law actually changed BECAUSE of Boll repeatedly thrusting his cock at the system.

Well, I meant it in a monetary sense. Boll's movies apparently cost around 20-25 million dollars on average, and the budget of his Dungeon Siege adaptation was actually 60 million. Not a huge amount by Hollywood standards, but he sure couldn't afford it without the German tax shelter.

There should be an Uwe Boll filmmaking tax. I am paying for the fucking church, so why not for Uwe.

Why don't they let him make a Metal Gear Solid movie? I mean, who else would do it? Are they waiting for Michael Bay to come along or what?

Also, that video is priceless, Uwe is my hero.

He should just make movies of himself saying "fuck" and "shit" about things because that was comedy.

Movies where Tara Reid gets killed have to be good for something, right? ...right?

YouTube - EXCLUSIVE: Uwe Boll responds to online petition

Misogynyst Gynecologist Apr 14, 2008 05:03 PM

Signed the Pro Uwe Boll online pettion.

Not only does it prove nothing (like the Anti-Uwe Boll petiton) but it will make super-filmmaker sprouticus foam at the mouth like some dumb beast.

QuentinT Apr 14, 2008 09:26 PM

Whatever happened to him saying that he is willingly box some critic, did he ever do it or pussed out?

Rotorblade Apr 14, 2008 09:29 PM

He went through with it and a majority of them got their asses kicked because he took it seriously and they thought it was a publicity stunt. One dude was smart enough to just stay down, the others weren't quite so apt.

It was a valiant effort, Rich.
