Can't call LHB my favorite 96 Arranged track, but considering that's one of my all-time favorite arrange albums from top to bottom, it's fine with me. As long as we're not talking about the version of "Big Shot" that shows up on it, anyway or the horrible Kyo/Iori image song. Although if the Raiden theme from Fatal Fury Special arranged was here, I'd have petitioned to give it all 6 points. Never could get into the Wild Ambition music. Wanted to like Last Ninja, but it kind of fizzled.

Call from the Earth (Raiden) - Pretty cool rock.

Soccer Table - Not the best I've heard from virt, but still a very solid track.

I nominated Primitive Heart because I don't think most people have heard the Hopeful Weeds songs, and Mitsuda works that people haven't heard are rare. Honestly, I don't consider it a fantastic song, but it's kind of grown on me. Also, the melody beginning at ~2:42 is just wonderful. The rest is solid.

The Mansion is entirely too long. If it's gonna be that long, it's gotta be awesome, and it was more on the boring side.

Vs. Donald - YES! More funky music in SotW, please. I mean, it's not crazy good, but still, it's funky. I'll have to get the rest of Magical Tetris Challenge's music.

Shoot the Smiley - Good, but I can't say I found it special.

Long-horned Beetle - One of the more unique songs this week in terms of instrument makeup. Close to a point.

Speaking of which, The King of Fighters '96 Arrange Sound Trax is now the second permanently disqualified album, having placed three times. Congratulations all around, there will be cake at the retirement party, etc.

I really have to finish that disqualified nominations list!

Aw, so no 7 minute Dust Man nomination...I WAS thinking about that. Something insanely addictive about that track, no matter how awful it is.

A good way to send it off. Let's see if it can get the true storybook ending in the BATTLE though. :)

That's sadly the only funky track in the soundtrack, most of the other tracks are a bit off, there's one or two cool tracks still though. A nice easy-listening kinda thing for the end game theme for example, haha.

EDIT: Whoops forgot about "Versus Wolf", I guess there is one or two other funky tracks after all.

Status update: the holdup this week is on acquiring a copy of Djinova's nomination. Normally I try to grab tracks uploaded to sites like Sendspace right away, but this one passed me by, so the link has expired. I PM'd him Sunday night, but he hasn't responded yet.

On a related note, why is my nomination no longer uploaded to the "nominations" folder? It was there a few nights ago when I double-checked to see if I'd remembered to upload. I'm not up this week, so should I just re-upload?

I don't know where it went, but if I were to take a guess, I'd say I got overzealous in deleting old noms from the nominations folder and blasted yours away with the other Garou Densetsu track. A re-upload would be great.
