I'd be perfectly happy if they decided to turn Suikoden VI into a visual novel instead.

Suikoden gaiden were visual novels, but these novels never make it to west.
Wii/ps2 seems appropiate for making/developing standpoint, suikoden is normally big rpg so it would take years on ps3(white night still not out).

Finally whatever system , its the team whats neceesary they could really fuck up like S3 and 4 as mentioned.

Anyway, this rumor has been pretty much confirmed by multiple authorities on Suikoden to be fake. Nothing to see here.

Like I said, these are authorities on Suikoden rather than authorities on rumormongering, who would be more appropriate to 'officially' debunk these things.

Vextor (who is responsible for translating and transcribing about 90% of the information on Suikosource, which is more or less the authority on Suikoden in the English-speaking world), over at SuikoX, has stated on the forums that this was posted as a joke rumor over at 2ch, and someone without a sense of humor took it as literal. The threads relating to the rumor have been stamped out and closed by the moderation.
