You can still play it on the DS. I want this game...BAD! I'd still like to see the N64 incarnation of Mother though. That game looked neat. |
How big is the fanbase of Mother series? I barely know this game in the SNES golden era. I know it exist after my friend give me a copy of its rom. Cute artwork... modern rpg... but it seems the game doesn't gain too much popularity like other rpg.

Bullshit. If you actually bothered to read the forums there, they stated the project would be terminated immediately if there was a release confirmation. Ghideon Zhi started working on a patch over at Aeon Genesis too with the same mindset. Just because it's likely a game will come over doesn't mean it will. Fire Emblem kept the ending in foreshadowing the release of Sealed Sword, yet that never got a release and at this point probably never will. This could easily be the same situation.

Huh. I didn't think that the GBA version was actually an adaptation of the cancelled 64DD game.
I can wait for an official translation, though. |
I simply can't wait!
Also, about the world being small, check this picture out: http://starmen.net/mother3/mother3wo...es/0404_01.gif Who said you would be limited to that worldmap? :P |
