The peanut butter and porridge was a long time staple in my diet until i seemingly developed a minor allergey to oats. Man, those were the days.

I think he's saying he's a bit like my old roommate. That guy would put about ten shakes of salt on each piece of pizza he ate. And he ate almost a pizza at a time. That amount of salt was also put onto pretty much any other food he ate, as well.

I don't think there's anything wrong with salt (at times I like to just eat a little sprinkle of it alone for a snack), but there's certain points like that where you figure it's a bit much.

I hate salt. I understand it's in everything, and I'm ok with that, but if I can taste I get annoyed. I never add it fries and I pick it off of pretzels (which typically ends when the skin on my thumbs is so rough and torn up that it begins to crack :(). Everyone gives me crap for never adding salt to my food, but it would just make me not want to eat. =[

As for food I enjoy - it's all really simple. I rarely add sauce to anything and I don't eat really complex foods. People are always trying to get me to eat new food, but it rarely happens.
