I remember the store manager at the GameCrazy I worked at made around $14 an hour, I believe. I guess the bonuses made up for it, or something.

I loved how the bastard would talk about his prior experience as a manager in the "restaurant business." It wasn't until one of my co-workers got him drunk that we found out "restaurant business" actually meant McDonalds. All jokes aside, you can make a pretty decent chunk of change working for McDonalds.

I'm actually pretty surprised that an assistant manager position pays so well. Most assistant mgr positions I see available are in the 12 - 14 $/hr range. At $27/hr you are pulling in more than 50k before taxes (at full time) which is not a bad wage considering.
