I just use OiNK's Pink Palace. Very good tracker with tons of seeds, and the files are very reliable.

My only problem with OiNK's is that I'm having trouble keeping my ratio up. All of the music that I could contribute there has already been uploaded. I might have to resort to upping comic book torrents...

My ratio has always been great there, because one time I downloaded a 2.5 GB Pink Floyd Discography, and was able to seed it for about 25 GB. So after that I had no problem. And, oh yeah, I downloaded this during the Christmas season when downloading didn't count towards your ratio. :)

I'm forgetting hongfire, but they rarely have anything interesting anymore. The last I checked, they were down. Then, they managed to keep their tracker private, then it was public again. If they stopped messing around with it I'd actually be happy to download from them again.

I did get the 2.5 GB Sakura Taisen 3 6 CD set from them though, so I might as well mention them.

Demonoid.com is my favorite actually, been registered there for a while now.
Lot's of great files and very well seeded as well!

www.torrents.to

That's it. It searches loads of torrent sites so it's nice and quick and easy. It usualy finds what i want. If it doesn't find it, it more than likely doesn't exist

Agent Olive Mar 20, 2006 07:44 PM

I use TorrentSpy and IsoHunt, although I've started to use TorrentSpy much more.

WeimarK Mar 20, 2006 09:44 PM

Mininova, Torrentportal, Isohunt If I don't find anything there, well It doesn't exist (at least to me)

Yggdrasil Mar 20, 2006 10:06 PM

mininova and piratebay for me. I don't really use torrentspy and torrentreactor primarily because in the past they've never been of much help. Maybe only when mini and pirate fail me.

Arkhangelsk Mar 21, 2006 01:56 AM

Ditto from Yggdrasil: Piratebay and Mininova. I've had crappy luck with any others, because the files are inevitably abandoned for the things I want.

Actually, the music I want is hardly ever seeded by the time I find it :(.

zander Mar 21, 2006 08:49 AM

iso hunt

sorry for going off topic but has any of the torrents been slowing down for anybody? i've rebooted my computer and it still doesn't work, it gets to 70% in a download and crashes, i heard they're being sued and they're supposedly getting closed down. does any body know if this is true?

i usually use isohunt for most things, if that fails, i use limewire

bighunt Mar 21, 2006 12:48 PM

for tv/movies and some music, MININOVA!!!!!!!!

for anime/music, TOKYOTOSHO!

sometimes i use torrentspy (if all else fails).

Red_21 Mar 21, 2006 06:49 PM

I use Boxtorrents for anime and Ost. For everything else I use Mininova

Sukebepanda Mar 21, 2006 08:02 PM

I use either torrentspy.com or boxtorrents.com (for anime/manga/hentai/etc), but then I rarely search for torrents since I'm still stuck on dialup.

Chip Mar 22, 2006 01:07 AM

Mininova then if I cant find anything there, I head off to torrentspy. :)
