Okay. I'm sure some of you figured this was a lost cause, but we finally got the interview with Akira Yamaoka, in person, at E For All. Unfortunately, because it was in person, I had to severely limit the number of questions. The original questions numbered in the 30s, which was probably way too much to begin with. Anyway, I'll post here when the interview is published (probably sometime this weekend).
Sorry for all the delays! |

Yamaoka-san rocks! I hope he will be present at one of Leipzig's Symphonic Game Music Concerts in the future.
Thank you very much for the interview! |
Didn't even notice this has been posted. Stumbled upon it while browsing some of my older posts.
A very good interview, but it's sad that we didn't get an answer on the extended track issue. That was the most important question for me, I would've loved to know if we'll get to hear this great music without sound effects someday. |
Sorry, man. We literally had about 50 or so questions including what all the fans submitted and what I had ready. It's no wonder he never completed the one we emailed back to him in June!

It's okay. You didn't waste the opportunity for a generic interview, the questions and answers were interesting, so I'm more than confident.
As to the bonus track question, there will be other chances to tell him that. I guess this isn't the last interview conducted with him. |
