All the good I do for the environment in circumstantial.
My tv is never left on standby; tv is shit. I ride a bike everywhere; cars cost money and I'm a bum. I never use plastic carrier bags; a backpack is the only way to carry things since I ride a bike. I don't really care about the environment. |

I try to get everyone I work with in the restaurant to use both sides of the papers we write orders on. I actually get really irritated when they dont, or when the cooks just throw them away before I can take them back to use the second side. I dont see the problem... we're saving trees and money, because 2 sides = more paper = having to buy new notepads so often.
Other than regular recycling and not littering, thats all that I can think of right now. I'm horrible with electricity (almost ALWAYS have a fan running, even in the winter), and have gotten really lazy since getting my license... but then again, I'll be moving to the NYC area in a year or so, so public transportation will be taken as opposed to a car. |
