God forbid he hire writers that can actually write!

I have a feeling this series will be good. Lucas isn't writing it, and I'm sure he's not going to direct all 100 or so episodes planned. So as long as his involvement is kept to a minimum, we may have a good show in store for 2007.

God forbid that I fail to enjoy stuff that sucks ass.

So is Jar Jar in this, or what.

You'd like that wouldn't you.

Jar Jar was one of the lighter sides of the Spinoff Trilogy.

When I first heard that there was going to be a live-action SW tv series, I was mortified. However, as of now, I honestly don't know what to think. I agree that a series entirely focused on Luke growing up would be hella boring. If that's what they actually decide to do, it'll obviously include his "friends" on Tatooine growing up (like Biggs), racing T-14s and shooting womprats. Yawn. LOL.

However, if they only had one Luke-focused episode, I guess it could work. I really wish Lucas would let SW rest in peace. He's said constantly that after Ep3, he would be "done" with SW. However, when there's more money to be made, he just can't resist. Because, you know... we really need more re-releases of the films as well (with the 3-D versions coming out next year). God forbid you just ignore it and don't watch it if you don't like it instead of shitting in everyone else's cereal.

Shit mixed with ammonia can't taste so bad.

As long as its better than what I saw from the prequels, I'll give it a chance. TV today hasn't given me much to be enthusiastic about, so I can only hope it'll be decent. I'll set the bar low.

Ammonia: So much more than just a breakfast cereal.

This was the first thing I thought when I realised it's Luke's story, but hey, George Lucas made not only great movies with this universe but a Star Wars culture.
There are things of Star Wars that I love, like the games, and things I hate like the cartoons (Clone Wars and Droids).
But I belive Geroge Lucas is capable of creating a great show, let's just hope for the better.
