Dude...you got ditched by your girlfriend because you weren't a high enough level? Hahahah. Sorry... I myself got sucked into the void of WoW 5 months ago because some guys are work were playing it. My girlfriend had just given my the "lets be friends" talk. WoW got me through a rough time, though I can see how it can be a double edged blade. All you have to do is have the will power to limit yourself so you don't turn into an MMO zombie. MMOs are fun, just take it in moderation.

She'd stay up literally 30 hours straight at my house in my room and completely ignore me. I'd log on to do something with her, and she'd get ready to go out in game to do something with me then she'd suddenly say the guild's doing some heritage quest and I wasn't high enough level for it ... so I'd even be left out in game. I got too sick of it. MMOs are evil, and I'm giving up on them. I was with her for a year, and we were so happy together until she committed suicide and was resurrected as her EQ2 characters.

If you can somehow get them over WoW, let me know. Maybe it'll work on my ex ...

You know, the words "If the game means so much to you more than me, you can take that to your own place and leave" works pretty well.

It's not because you're playing it that helps the situation at all. Pretty much you've lost her already so if you're not already dumping her, it's likely no chance for you to get her back. If she wakes up and realizes you're not going to be there sooner or later with her current gaming addiction, (provided she cares that you two stay together) then you can try to help her ween herself out of it; but you know, strict guidelines and constrictions don't go so well with any sort of addicts (druggies or gamers).
