Skippy (smooth) here. I hate Peter Pan Peanut Butter.

I have a half eaten one from a couple weeks ago. I didn't get sick.

My dad got sick from that stuff. We had three half-eaten jars of the 2111 Peter Pan in the cabinet (why we had three is beyond my comprehension) and my dad likes to eat a huge glob of peanut butter with syrup on it once or twice a week. He didn't get deadly ill and didn't miss work or anything, so it's not really a big deal. The mad scientist in me wants to use the peanut butter to grow my own little army of salmonella in a petri dish even though I'd only be doing it out of pure curiosity.

Lucky. JUST bought a jar of peanut butter before the recall and chose Jif instead of Peter Pan. That would have been incredibly ugly. =\

hahaha. I know it's not anything to laugh at, but man, it must suck for the Peter Pan guys!
